Be our guest at one of the oldest St. John lodgings, built in 1966 by the Hall Family. During that time there was only one hotel.

The suites are located on the top floor, facing tropical St. John, Cruz Bay, its harbor and town area. The accommodations are elegant and ideal for couples.

Whether it be your holiday or honeymoon or one of your romantic destinations, feel free to soak in the ocean view. You are also encouraged to feed the St. John, yellow breasted sugar birds (bananaquit), with a few spoons of sugar. We supply the sweetness.

This is a non-smoking guest house. On staff, we also have three dogs; Sisquo, Alexis and her daughter Vivian. Among them lives Yum-Yum, a Siamese cat, who is beautiful to behold.

In summary, the lodgings are a vacation holiday escape suite, that can be enjoyed by fifty plus couples, honeymooners eloping, anniversary couples, business women and men.

All the beaches have a breath taking ocean view. Unlike the large hotels, you won't get lost in the crowd.

Rooms:

The Front Suite:

The balcony is exclusive to the Front Suite where you can dine at night and view the twinkling of the stars, full moon and boats in the harbor.

You can view St. Thomas to the left and other islands to the right.

Breezy, private and intoxicating view. You won't want to move!

Frank Bay Beach is a four minute slow walk downhill.

The Front Suite is a red romantic dream come true; queen size canopy bed, air conditioning and ceiling fans, all for your comfort.

A complimentary bottle of champagne will be chilled for your arrival, fruit basket, free mini-bar, snacks and breakfast items, are included especially for you.

Kitchenette with microwave, two burner hotplate, large refrigerator and coffee maker.

Southern Suite:

The Southern Suite is located on the South Side of The Guest House on the top floor.

Complimentary champagne, fruit basket, snacks, breakfast items and mini-bar.

The suite can accommodate four people. The suite has a queen size canopy bed and full size futon bed/couch. There is a private bathroom with shower.

The suite features beach chairs, ice chest, snorkel equipment, games, coffee maker, air condition, remote control ceiling fans and lights, cable TV, VCR and movies (some children movies), Tiffany lamps, small refrigerator, microwave and electric two burner hot plate.

The canopy bed is dressed in blue and white toile, with peach and yellow accent pillows. In the suite you will find Vincent Van Goghs' Pictures.

From the suite you can view of ocean, St. Croix, St. Thomas and south of St. John from suite and lounge/patio area, where you can relax and read the book provided.

Complimentary day visit to Trunk Bay Beach, Annaberg and seclude romantic Peter Bay Beach.

The Patio:

Private bathroom, with shower, is to your left as you enter your suite.

The patio is the place where you can lounge, relax, read or dine. Feel the intoxicating breezes, hear the water fountain gurgling and wind chimes blowing in the wind.

Enjoy a refreshing drink of champagne, soda, juice and water.

Amenities:

The St. John vacation rental suite includes a queen size canopy bed, kitchenette with a microwave, blender, food processor, coffee maker and charcoal grill.

A DVD player, DVD movies, beach chairs, cable TV, air conditioning, ceiling fan, snorkel equipment and cooler are included in the suite vacation package for your comfort.

The accommodations has a private balcony where you can see the ocean view, the spectacular fiery sunsets, powder white sand and turquoise pristine water.

Description of Area:

Centrally located, a five minute walk to Frank Bay Beach, supermarkets, tennis court, churches, taxis, Courtesy Car Rental and the Famous Sogo's Restaurant.

America's #3 Best Beach in 2003 was Trunk Bay Beach, according to Discovery on the Travel Channel.

Several of the beaches are less than a ten minute drive into the country side. Once you arrive at your beach destinations, you can snorkel, swim, sun bathe and enjoy the romantic tropical Caribbean anniversary vacation getaway.

The U.S. Virgin Islands tropical plants in the garden include Mango trees, Papaya trees, Key Lime trees, Bougainvilleas flowers, fragrant Jasmine flowers, Gardenia flowers, Ginger Thomas yellow flowers, Hibiscus flowers, and fragrant Frangipani blossoms.

The Virgin Islands National Park has tours which you can sign up for to view the park foliage.

Frank Bay Beach:

Frank Bay Beach is excellent for snorkeling, swimming, picnicing and sunbathing. Usually you only find one or two people on the beach, at a time. We provide the cooler, mask and fins.

It is about three minutes downhill from the Hillcrest Guest House.

Vacation Rental Package:

The vacation rental package by owner, includes an escape to exclusive romantic Peter Bay Beach, a day destination to Trunk Bay Beach, Annaberg Ruins, complimentary bar, snacks and a chilled bottle of champagne.

Books and games (checkers, cards, backgammon, Chinese checkers, chess, cards, etc.) are included in the vacation package.

As part of the vacation getaway, we provide complimentary pick up and delivery from the Cruz Bay Dock, St. John.
