Come up our quiet country lane to West Hill House Bed and Breakfast.

We are a historic 1850's home that's only one mile from Sugarbush skiing, golfing and tennis resort and adjacent to its Robert Trent Jones Sr. championship golf course.

We're off the beaten path, but close to restaurants, shopping, quaint villages, covered bridges and outdoor recreation beyond imagination.

With warm weather hiking, biking, fishing, swimming, canoeing, golf and tennis. In the wintertime enjoy downhill and cross country skiing, snowshoeing, and sleigh riding all right nearby, Sugarbush and the Mad River Valley is the best!

Our nine peaceful acres with mountain views, meadow, ponds, gardens and woods provide a setting for relaxation and getting away from it all.

Enjoy the comfortable big, bright sun room, the living room and the wonderful library with its pool table - all with fireplaces, original art, and antiques. Put your feet up on our front porch, the sunny back deck or the airy gazebo. Read a book or watch the "critter shows" as birds and chipmunks, deer and an occasional moose entertain you.

Memorable breakfasts, afternoon and bedtime snacks. Candlelight dinners on Saturday nights by reservation, for six or more guests. Raiding the cookie jar is encouraged. State licensed for sale of wine and beer.

Eight comfortable, well-appointed queen or twin/king bed guestrooms with private baths, all with steam bath and/or Jacuzzi, and gas fireplace. Down comforters and pillows, thick towels, good reading lights. Children over age 12 welcome. Non-smoking. Resident young cats who request that you leave your pets at home.

Want A Little Pampering?

We can arrange for flowers in the room for your special someone, order event or theater tickets, line up equipment rental, schedule a massage, outline a day trip to satisfy your interests, or make a dinner reservation for you. We're here to help.

Planning A Wedding? A Small Business Meeting? A Reunion?

West Hill House may be the perfect spot for that special occasion. Just let us know what you have in mind and we'll work with you to arrange it. For most events we ask that your guests book the entire Inn for 2 nights if a weekend or one night if during the week.

Let us help you plan the wedding of your dreams at West Hill House Bed and Breakfast, a beautiful spot for your special day.

It is our goal to do all in our power to help you have a happy and stress free wedding day, one that you will have fond memories of 25 years down the road! With this goal in mind, we will work with you to personalize your event and to accommodate your wishes.

As your guests come up our quiet country lane to West Hill House, a beautiful 1850's home, they will be surrounded by the beauty and serenity of the Green Mountains. We're just a little bit off the beaten path, yet close to everything.

Our nine peaceful acres with beautiful perennial gardens, birch gazebo, meadows and ornamental ponds provide a lovely setting for weddings, civil unions, receptions, rehearsal dinners or Sunday brunches. To create the perfect wedding, all that is needed is your personal touch: food, flowers, candles, music, friends and family.

We host events up to about 80 guests and, depending on the size of the group and the season, we offer the use of the inn, its canopied deck, or our handsome red barn. Weddings can be catered by one of our recommended caterers and for weddings taking place at West Hill House we offer onsite catering for Rehearsal Dinners and "First Morning" Brunches for up to 35 guests.

For the couple that prefers a quiet celebration with just the two of you, we also offer everything you need for a beautiful and memorable wedding with our Elopement package.
