The Ellerbeck Mansion is a historic Victorian home
nestled in the heart of the charming and historic Avenues District of
downtown Salt Lake City.
We are big enough to meet your business and travel
needs, yet small enough to provide you with the intimate grace of
Victorian times.
Renovated and restored to its original charm, the
Mansion boasts hardwood floors, original moldings and stained glass, and
period theme decor.
The Ellerbeck Mansion is conveniently located at the
corner of 3rd Avenue and B Street, in a quiet residential neighborhood
just five blocks from the center of downtown Salt Lake City.
Guests can walk to Historic Temple Square, the Church
Office block, the new 21,000 seat Conference Center and the ZCMI
shopping mall. The mansion is a short 15 minute drive from the Salt Lake
International Airport and just 30 minutes from a dozen famous ski
resorts.
Elegant Common Areas:
Relax on the main floor or the upstairs gallery, both
warmed by fireplaces and charmed with talk from our guests as you
conduct business, plan your daily agenda, or relax before dinner.
Large vaulted windows invite the warm sunlight while old
books allow an escape for the mind. Rest and relax at the Ellerbeck
Mansion.
Guest Rooms:
Each of our six rooms is decorated in seasonal themes,
and has its own private bath. We serve breakfast directly to your room,
and provide you with the comfort and details that bring back the
elegance of a more delicate era.
Debbie, our innkeeper and manager, looks forward to
meeting you and making sure your visit to the Ellerbeck Mansion Bed
& Breakfast, and to Salt Lake City, is an unforgettable one.
Autumn Winds:
This handsomely decorated suite provides the open
space, serenity, and brisk cool emotions of autumn days past. Tender
attention to detail can be felt in the hand painted fall leaves and
handcrafted wreaths from the harvest. Warm your toes by the fire as
you look out onto the streets to see the sun set through the
large-framed windows.
Christmas Wishes:
Superbly decorated with a hand-carved walnut sleigh
bed and an 18th Century French Armoire. You are sure to feel a holiday
celebration from around the world with the ornate year-round Christmas
tree. Relax on a private sofa and allow yourself to indulge the rich
crimson, forest green, and navy decor. The suite is beautifully lit
with a crystal chandelier, and comforted by Father Christmas at the
fireplace.
Winter Dreams:
Stars are draped all around you as you sleep in this
beautiful 19th Century Canopy bed. Cherubs overlook and protect as you
are warmed with a fluffy down comforter while the fire roars against
the frosty white walls and large bright windows. You will feel at
peace while you escape into your dreams.
Calm Seas:
Decorated with the antique traveling cases and
nautical provisions of sea-voyagers from the past. You will feel cozy
in this spacious suite. Let the morning light shine through the
captain's shutters. Admire the hand-carved hardwood desk and
headboard, or practice up on your knot-tying skills.
Spring Breeze:
Feel the freedom and energy of spring in this
brilliantly lit, corner suite. The windows provide a bird's-eye view
of the historic Avenues District as you watch the passersby. Walk out
onto the private deck for some fresh air, and to watch the sun set.
The large, cool, marble shower and washroom add to the splendor and
excitement we all felt as children in springtime.
Summer Hill:
Return to fresh-cut grass and rolling hills. This

with pioneer men and women, and watch out for the horse drawn wagons!
This is the Place Monument, located near the Village, commemorates

Lake Valley for the first time, "This is the right place."
The Mormon pioneers continued on from this spot and settled the Great
Salt Lake valley.

Lake Bonneville. One of the world's largest inland bodies of salt
water, the Great Salt Lake is a beautiful place to swim, boat, or just

restaurant. A museum explaining the history of the mill sits at the
center of the village.

Park City is a historic town set in the heart of the
mountains, only a thirty minute drive from down town Salt Lake. Wander

periods and architectural styles. This is a great way to get a flavor
for the beauty of Salt Lake.
