The Heartland Country Resort is a sprawling haven for
both families and honeymooners.
Peacefully nestled amidst the beautiful rolling hills
and shady woodlands northeast of Columbus, Ohio. The remodeled 1878
farmhouse, the 1998 carriage house, and the 1996 log building, situated
on over one hundred acres, provide a private country retreat with all
the amenities.
Couples find welcome seclusion in the privacy of the
setting and the luxurious comfort of the seven suites and guestrooms.
The main farmhouse is completely refurbished for the
guests' comfort and has private bathrooms, air conditioning, a spacious
deck, and a screened porch.
The new log building contains three deluxe suites with
solid log walls, cathedral ceilings, full kitchens or kitchenettes,
private entrances, private porches with swings, two-person Jacuzzis, and
glass-front stoves.
The most recent addition, the carriage house, has a
spacious living room with a fireplace, a large oak table, and an oak
entertainment center with a TV and VCR. It also has a kitchenette, a
bathroom with a whirlpool tub, and a bedroom with a queen bed.
Both families and couples love the friendly golden
retriever dogs, horses, cattle, chickens, cats, and the variety of
activities. For many of the guests, horseback riding in the indoor or
outdoor arena, or on the woodland or meadow trail, is the highlight of
their stay.

interesting books on the Native Americans.
