Step into the 19th century yesteryear at The Gilded Swan Bed and Breakfast in the heart of the Charming Lake Erie Harbor Town of Ashtabula.

Every romantic at heart will love the escape to Victorian elegance in rooms designed for romantic interludes and magical memories. Enjoy being pampered with pillow chocolates, afternoon snacks, or a sumptuous gourmet breakfast served in our elegant dining room.

Ashtabula is a Native American word for "river of many fishes." The historic Ashtabula Harbor district provides a glimpse of the rich history of one of the busiest ports on the Great Lakes. Take some time to view the lake and its mystery. Stroll the historic streets and visit the charming shops and other attractions the Ashtabula area has to offer.

The Gilded Swan is conveniently located for exploration of the harbor, wine country, the many covered bridges, and Amish culture. Northeast Ohio and northwest Pennsylvania are full of adventures and new travel experiences.

Cleveland, home of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum, world renowned museums and sports teams, along with Erie, Pennsylvania, offer superb attractions close by.

Family gatherings, cocktail parties, card parties, showers, birthday parties, teas, organization and business meetings are all welcomed at The Gilded Swan.

Take a step back into the quiet elegance of the lavish Victorian era at The Gilded Swan. It is a haven for guests seeking the gilded ambience and gracious hospitality of a bygone era.

After a year of renovation, The Gilded Swan has been lovingly decorated by your hostess and it will be my pleasure to welcome you. Elaine Swanson, Proprietor
