The Inland Waterway Inn is located on a quiet,
tree lined street in the heart of Oriental, in view of the river and a
short walk from art and craft galleries, delightful shops, excellent
restaurants and the harbor with its ever changing array of fishing and
cruising boats.
Your day will begin with morning coffee at your door, followed by a
generous, uniquely English breakfast, served in the dining room at a
civilized hour. Freshly brewed coffee and tea, juices and fresh fruit,
home baked muffins, scones and bread compliment the entrée of the day.

each room has its own private bath, cable television, and personality.

The English Room:
Whispering of a treasured past, with its raised, chintz canopied
queen bed, romantic window seat and claw-foot bath.
The French Room:
Light & airy, offers a cool, quiet hideaway with a queen size,
sleigh bed.
The Garret:
Once Captain Cartwright's yacht design and writing studio. Snuggle
into the king-sized bed in this wood paneled room. Tucked away up a
private staircase, it captures the nautical flavor of the village
itself.
The Victoria Suite:

The Croaker Festival:
Come celebrate Independence Day with open air entertainment, plenty
of food and refreshments capped off with a surprisingly spectacular
fireworks display.
First Weekend in August
Oriental Rotary Club Annual Tarpon Tournament:
This year limited to 75 boats - Oriental's sports fishing event of
the year.
Second Weekend in December
The Spirit of Christmas:
A whole town celebration to open the holiday season. Starting off
with a candle-lit parade heralding the arrival of Santa followed by
'open-house' in all of the retail businesses with live entertainment
and seasonal refreshments.
New Year's Eve
The Dragon Run:
A unique way to celebrate the New Year. Come touch the dragon for
luck as it makes its annual appearance in the town.
