Slip away to the Harborlight Guest House, a secluded waterfront inn, located on the central NC coast.

The inn is surrounded by water on three sides, thus all suites have glorious water views.

The inn features 7 luxury suites with two-person whirlpool tubs and/or fireplaces. A gourmet breakfast is served in-suite or deckside daily. Guest especially enjoy breakfast deckside to catch glimpse of porpoise and otter feeding in the waters surrounding the inn!

All suites have private entrances and private baths. Innkeepers, Bobby and Anita Gill, will introduce guest to the many "off-the-beaten-track" beach excursions, area museums, the aquarium, a Civil War fort, and sunset sails. They will share the secret escapes to the Cape Lookout Lighthouse and Bear Island for incredible shelling and pristine beaches.

For a romantic escape, visit this romantic inn soon!

About The Inn:

The inn is a secret hideaway; there are no signs on the highway, therefore resulting in a very private and secluded waterfront inn for the guest who needs an escape from their hectic daily lives!

The inn sits on a peninsula surrounded on three sides by water, thus all suites have stunning views of Bogue Sound and the Intracoastal Waterway.

Waterfront sunsets are a spectacular conclusion to a day of shelling, shopping, and exploring the Crystal Coast museums and waterfront villages.

Things To Do:

The inn offers 530' of shoreline on Bogue Sound and the rocking chairs on the decks are perfect spots to read a good book or just enjoy the wildlife along the waterfront.

If guests prefer the sand and surf, the innkeepers will share the hidden treasure of Hammocks Beach State Park, located 5 miles from the inn. Only accessible by boat, this island was rated by a national travel magazine as one of the top ten beaches of the United States!

Other favorite island excursions include trips to Cape Lookout Lighthouse to gather Whelk Shells and discover pristine and very private beaches. Visitors to the Crystal Coast during Spring, Summer, and Fall will have a variety of activities to choose from including water sports, museums, the NC Aquarium, an outdoor drama, and fishing tournaments and annual festivals.

October to December offers great days for beachcombers and area Christmas events are happening also. The Core Sound Decoy Festival brings master decoy carvers from around the country; the Christmas Flotilla of decorated boats parading on the waterfront; the Swansboro Waterfront Candlelight Tour of the shops are "get in the Christmas mood" fun things to do!

January-February visits to the Harborlight Guest House are quiet times to rejuvenate and recover from the Holidays!

Breakfast:

A gourmet breakfast is served daily in the waterfront dining room; guests of the luxury suites (with fireplaces and whirlpool tubs) have the option of breakfast served in-suite.

Favorite breakfast of the guests include Creamy Eggs with Asparagus and Filet Mignon or RumRunners French Toast with Honeybee Ambrosia. Slip away to the Harborlight Guest House for a romantic getaway.

Accommodations:
