History:
In 1860 Samuel Fitch Woodworth, a prosperous farmer,
moved his family into this 4,000 square foot Italianate Villa midway
between Cohocton and North Cohocton in rural Steuben County, New York.
He was a direct descendant of Walter Woodworth of
Situate, Massachusetts, one of America's first settlers.
Following ten years of neglect and deterioration, the
mansion has been tastefully restored and converted into a charming
Country Victorian that promises to be "truly your home away from
home".
