Welcome to the Schroon Lake Bed and Breakfast in the Adirondack
Mountains.
A romantic country inn open all year offering relaxing and tranquil
surroundings for that perfect getaway.
Nestled at the foothills of the High Peaks Region in the heart of the
Adirondack Mountains, in the six million acre Adirondack Park, travelers
will find the warm and gracious Schroon Lake Bed and Breakfast Inn. The
Victorian farmhouse sits on a grassy knoll offering majestic views of
the surrounding mountains from our Grand Front Porch. Nearby is
picturesque Schroon Lake with nine miles of crystal clear water. Guests
are invited to refresh their spirits in the peace and beauty of the
mountains.
The Victorian farmhouse, built in the early 1920's, was a popular
spot during prohibition. Today its popularity is generated from the
warmth and hospitality guests enjoy.
About Schroon Lake:
Schroon Lake, once renowned area with many large and beautiful hotels
and the glamour of the rich and famous who vacationed here (it is
rumored that Dutch Schultz once stayed at our Schroon Lake Adirondack
Bed and Breakfast Inn), is still the best choice for you to enjoy the
Adirondack region and its myriad of seasonal activities.
Summer:
Schroon Lake's sandy beach is close by where you can enjoy swimming
and relaxing in the sun. Canoeing and sailing nine miles of the Lake's
crystal clear waters, hiking, fly fishing, mountain biking, outdoor
summer concerts at The Boathouse Theater and Opera at the Seagle Music
Colony. Awaiting the golf enthusiast are the public courses in Schroon
Lake and Ticonderoga. Historic sites include Fort Ticonderoga, Crown
Point and Fort William Henry.
Fall:
Fall ushers in Mother Nature at her finest with the majestic colors
of fall foliage, a photographer's dream. Our annual Adirondack
Marathon Distance Festival and Apple Fest at Schroon Lake's Historic
Museum. Enjoy crisp mountain air and nights filled with thousands of
stars.
Winter:
Enjoy snowmobiling and ice fishing. Cross country and down hill
skiing are available at nearby Whiteface and Gore Mountains. Relax in
front of our warm, crackling fireplace with your favorite book.

Victorian style dining room. Crème Caramel French Toast, Blueberry
