Relax in the peaceful elegance that has made York Street House the ultimate intimate in town accommodations.

Opened in 1983, the inn is housed in a 1909 home known to locals as the Massey Mansion. Our gourmet breakfasts, 24 hour tea service, homemade cookies and quiet surroundings keep our guests returning.

Relax in front of your fireplace. Walk to antique shops and fine restaurants in Lambertville and New Hope. Fall in love again with our special packages that we make available to bed and breakfast visitors like yourself.

Let York Street House Bed and Breakfast surround you with quiet elegance.

Guests love the quiet atmosphere. On a wintry day, curl up with a book on the down-stuffed chaise in the parlor, listen to the fire crackle and sip a cup of hot tea… or when weather permits relax on our covered veranda in antique wicker rocking chairs. Watch the birds and squirrels at one our feeding stations.

In the dining room, a large selection of teas, coffee and freshly baked cookies are always available.

Our candlelit gourmet breakfasts have earned us a place in Getaways for Gourmets. We grind and blend our private label estate coffee daily. Breakfast starts with fresh juice and a first course followed by a luscious main course. The menu is changed daily based on the availability of local fresh ingredients.

All rooms have private baths. Fine amenities include down comforters, fireplaces, signature soaps, personal care items, bathrobes, and cable television. Rooms are equipped with well lighted desks and comfortable chairs are provided for reading and daydreaming.

Several times a year, concerts are offered across the street at Mary Sheridan Park. Guest can relax and have a birds eye view of the gazebo and band.

Weeklong stays may be discounted depending upon the season.

Our international business travelers return time and again to our tranquil yet accessible location.

In particular, we offer a safe haven for women travelers together or on their own.

Gourmet Breakfast:

Mount Rainier cherries, seedless blackberries, orange flesh melon, low bush blueberries, and golden watermelon accompany brie and toasts for starters.

Rounding out the day is our potato egg strata, accompanied by an organically grown vine tomato stuffed with imported cheese and herbs, then broiled to a warm brown crust.

Champagne grapes and fresh oregano blossoms garnish the presentation.

Freshly baked rye and wheat bread are offered with strawberry preserves or butter.

York Street House blends and grinds its own coffees, based on the best plantation coffees available through our distributor.  April 2000 features Sumatran Estate coffee as the base for our blend.

Fresh orange juice is always on the menu to start your day.
