Opened in 1983, the inn is housed in a 1909 home known
to locals as the Massey Mansion. Our gourmet breakfasts, 24 hour tea

Guests love the quiet atmosphere. On a wintry day, curl
up with a book on the down-stuffed chaise in the parlor, listen to the
fire crackle and sip a cup of hot tea… or when weather permits relax
on our covered veranda in antique wicker rocking chairs. Watch the birds
and squirrels at one our feeding stations.
In the dining room, a large selection of teas, coffee
and freshly baked cookies are always available.
Our candlelit gourmet breakfasts have earned us a place
in Getaways for Gourmets. We grind and blend our private label estate
coffee daily. Breakfast starts with fresh juice and a first course
followed by a luscious main course. The menu is changed daily based on
the availability of local fresh ingredients.
All rooms have private baths. Fine amenities include
down comforters, fireplaces, signature soaps, personal care items,
bathrobes, and cable television. Rooms are equipped with well lighted
desks and comfortable chairs are provided for reading and daydreaming.
Several times a year, concerts are offered across the
street at Mary Sheridan Park. Guest can relax and have a birds eye view
of the gazebo and band.
Weeklong stays may be discounted depending upon the
season.

again to our tranquil yet accessible location.

together or on their own.
Gourmet Breakfast:
Mount Rainier cherries, seedless blackberries, orange
flesh melon, low bush blueberries, and golden watermelon accompany brie
and toasts for starters.
Rounding out the day is our potato egg strata,
accompanied by an organically grown vine tomato stuffed with imported
cheese and herbs, then broiled to a warm brown crust.
Champagne grapes and fresh oregano blossoms garnish the
presentation.
Freshly baked rye and wheat bread are offered with
strawberry preserves or butter.
York Street House blends and grinds its own coffees,
based on the best plantation coffees available through our distributor.
April 2000 features Sumatran Estate coffee as the base for our blend.
Fresh orange juice is always on the menu to start your
day.

Bring your bicycle or rent locally and don’t forget
your walking shoes because, rain or shine, there’s always something to
do. Two blocks away, hike or bike the Delaware-Raritan Canal path on its
way from Trenton to Frenchtown.
In clear weather, Visit the Lambertville Antiques Flea
market just one mile south of town or grab one of our complimentary
umbrellas and stroll through the quiet village that we call home.
Adventurous types can schedule balloon rides, fly fishing, horseback
riding and river tubing with local providers.
Choose a gourmet picnic basket for an outing along the
Delaware or in the park.
(Baskets are provisioned by a fine restaurant and
require at least 24 hours advance notice.)
Washington Crossing State Park and Bowman's Tower
Wildflower Preserve provide simple walking trails; Ralph Stover State
Park has rock climbing areas for the more skilled outdoors person.

Lambertville also hosts the Riverside Symphonia for
several concerts.
