concept is now a reality.
This lodge is an expression of our desire to create a
warm and romantic place to relax and unwind from life's daily grind.
Once stemming from a Bed and Breakfast Theme, the rustic log cabin motif
combined with state of the art luxury, makes our lodge unique.

Presidential Suites:
Washington:
A room fit for a president and his first lady. This
room is furnished with a king-size bed and sitting area with all the
warmth and coziness that George and Martha shared. Overlooking Grant's
Trail, this room will take you back many days in history. Complete
with fireplace, Jacuzzi and full bathroom (tub and shower), it is
perfect for a romantic stay at the Lodge.
Lincoln:
Combination bedroom (Mary) and Conference (Abe). This
room can be converted from one side where President Lincoln sits with
his cabinet at the large conference table to two bedrooms. A
fireplace, wet bar accommodations and a full bathroom make it all
soooo convenient.
The conference room also has a queen-size bed that
provides additional sleeping accommodations for that suite. The
bedroom side, with the king-sized bed, is where Mary Lincoln patiently
waits to spend a few hours with her husband after a full day's work.
Other touches of warmth, coziness and convenience are
the fireplace, outside balcony and full bathroom, which will give you
a lovely night's stay. Who knows, you may want to stay another night!
Specialty Rooms:
All of our specialty rooms are complete with fireplace,
full bathrooms (tub and shower), cable television and most are equipped
with queen-sized beds. Besides these common amenities, each room has its
own special signature.
Christmas Room:
A touch of old, a touch of new, and you have Christmas
all year round. As you fall asleep in front of a cozy fire, let the
sugar plum fairies dance in your head. This room also accommodates the
handicapped.
Rockbridge Room:
Trout have been caught in the streams at Rockbridge
for many years past. Some of these have been mounted and decorate this
room. Our Rockbridge Room will relax you just as a wonderful day of
fishing in your favorite stream. As you slumber in your bed, you can
dream about the ones that got away. (Rockbridge has been a very
special place for the Orlando Family for more than 30 years.)
Safari Room:
Some of us yearn to see the great continent of Africa;
well, we are bringing some of that mysterious country to you. From
animals to animal fabrics, this room will appease your appetite for
the jungle. Come spend some time in our Safari Room and feel the call
of the wild!
Frontier Room:
The early years of expedition into the new frontier
left artifacts both from the American Indians as well as the
colonists. From soldiers to farmers, come share a piece of history and
relive some of those days. The down home comfort of this room will
make your stay a little less rugged than that of our forefathers.
Alaska Room:
The most recent frontier is our great state of Alaska.
Much like any frontier, it has taken much hard work and many
sacrifices to claim it. Spend a cozy night by the warm fire with
mementos of beautiful Alaska.
Mississippi Room:
"Old Man River" or "The Muddy
Mississippi" are two of the names our great river has been
called. From paddlewheels and steamboats to Robert E. Lee and his men,
this river has much to offer in the history of our region. Join us in
the Mississippi Room and take a look into our nautical past. As you
make yourself comfortable in this legendary room, you'll remember all
the stories your grandfathers told you.
