A Victorian bed & breakfast inn on two acres of
landscaped estate grounds - in the heart of the village.
Built in 1864 and named Mira Monte, "Behold the
Mountains", for the beautiful surrounding peaks of Acadia National
Park.
Each room has a private bath, air conditioning, cable
TV, phone, as well as a fireplace and/or balcony. Luxury Suites
available.
Bar Harbor, Maine, is surrounded by Acadia National Park
and the Atlantic Ocean. Mira Monte is on 2 acres of estate grounds in
the heart of Bar Harbor. One should stay here at least 4 nights to begin
to enjoy all the activities and sights of this island.
Most rooms have fireplaces and/or private balconies.
All have phones, cable TV, data ports, hair dryers, irons/boards. Seven
rooms have private, 2-person whirlpool bath/showers.

InnSpring Package:
Offered from opening until June 10th (except Memorial
Day Weekend). Rates include welcome gift, 2 dinners, 2 bikes for one
day or a cruise. Spring in Acadia is inspiring and what better place
to learn more than at Mira Monte Inn - hosted by a native of Bar
Harbor who knows the trails and wild plants like old friends.
Honeymoon Package:
Offered June 10 thru October 5th only. Four nights,
welcome gift, fresh flowers, choice of three or activities from a list
of 14 (such as whale watch, bikes, romantic dinner, glider ride, and
more...)

Daffodil Package:
Offered April to May 10th. Daffodils are spring - and
we have planted 1000 of them to bloom in late April and early May.
Spring is changeable here on the Island - but always interesting.
Migrating birds, long days, early bulbs, daffodils and cool sea
breezes.
You'd Be Surprised:
Offered October 22nd to closing. A late season,
wonderful, crisp air, afterglow fall color, early Christmas shopping
kind of package. Includes a welcome gift, two dinners, two bikes,
trail maps, coupons as available. A wonderful time of year for your
visit.
