The Lakeshore Inn is an elegant and

Mountain in a setting of majestic cedars, spruce, and hemlock.

History:
The original structure of the Lakeshore Inn was built in
1767 by Rockland's first settlers, the Tolman family. It is reported to
be one of the first buildings constructed in the town and has undergone
several cycles of additions and renovations.
Area Description:
The Inn is about two miles north of the center of the
city of Rockland and just south of the Rockport town line.
In season, watch from the deck, the sunroom, or the
outside patio for an array of beautiful wild birds and other wildlife
including deer. Enjoy the ever changing moods of Chickawaukie Lake all
year long.
In warm weather, the colorful garden patio offers a
pleasant atmosphere in which to visit with friends and fellow guests, or
just lean back and relax or read in view of the inn's small orchard.
Dodges Mountain (called Madambettox by the Penobscot
Indians) is a haven for wildlife.
Expect The Best:
Unwind in front of one of our fireplaces or relax in our
outdoor hot tub after a day of winter's fun.
We place our emphasis on personalized attention and our
delicious full gourmet breakfast "... so you can skip lunch."
Rooms:
Each of our tastefully decorated guest rooms has a queen
size bed, private bath, air conditioner (in season), telephone, fluffy
robes, hair dryer, soaps and gels. Each of these lovely rooms has a view
of the lake and two of them open out to a deck. All of our guests have
access to our outdoor Jacuzzi/hot tub in it's own teahouse.
Room 1:
This lovely room is garden side and opens out to a
shared deck with tables and chairs provided for relaxing. This bed
room has a Queen sized bed and a private shower/bath en suite.
Room 2:
This lovely room is lakeside and opens out to a shared
deck with tables and chairs provided for relaxing. This bedroom has a
Queen sized bed and a private shower/bath en suite.
Room 3:
This beautifully furnished queen bedroom faces the
lake and has its own private full bath just two short steps across the
hall.
Room 4:
Overlooking the lake, this spacious room has a queen
size bed. There is also a daybed which can be made up into a double
bed and a private, full bath en suite.

Spa Weekend Schedule
Arrive Friday by 6:00 PM
- Get settled in your room
- At 6:30 there will be a Hands-On Reflexology Class
- Then a professional speaks on Dreams, Energy and
Stress
- Cap the evening by wrapping yourself up in one of
our fluffy robes and sit in front of the fire or enjoy a relaxing
soak in our enclosed outdoor Jacuzzi hot tub.
