Our home is a lovely turn-of-the century post Victorian
built in 1905 as a wedding present for the very special daughter of a
local woolen mill owner.
We are located in the heart of The Maine Highlands. A
region that stretches across two counties and offers a broad range of
wilderness and sporting experiences as well as a diverse historical and
cultural heritage. We are mere minutes away from beautiful lakes, rivers
and mountains.
The Appalachian Trail, Gulf Hagas, Borestone Mountain
and many challenging golf courses are all nearby. We are a great
destination for the vacationer, antique shopper and business traveler.
Our love of gardening, great food and the sincere
hospitality of Central Maine is evident to all who stay with us.
A full gourmet breakfast, included in our rates, is
served in the dining room, or in fair weather, on the screened porch.
We look forward to your stay.

House Tour:
Over the years, our home has been beautifully maintained

elegance. Enjoy an evening by the fire in the living room, or snuggle
into an overstuffed chair with a book or a movie in the panelled
library.
Outside, enjoy over two acres of shaded lawns and
perennial gardens. A hammock swinging between two maples beckons a nap
or a good read.
The bed & breakfast is a delightful location for
business trainings, retreats and family events. Our catering service
offers the freshest homemade fare available in the area.
Activities:
Guilford is located on the door step of Maine's
beautiful North Woods. We are truly a four seasons destination.
Within 15 minutes you can be fly fishing on the
Piscataquis River. An hour away finds you hiking into the splendor of
Gulf Hagas, Little Wilson Falls or climbing Borestone Mountain to view a
valley of lakes and rivers.
Winter may find you cross-country skiing, snowmobiling,
