The Van Buren:

One queen size bed with 600 thread count sheets, down bedding, satin quilt, and plush terry robes. Luxurious day bed with chandelier draped in chiffon, covered with pillows, perfect for resting and relaxing. Table for two in the bay window overlooking the historic district. Includes fresh gourmet breakfast in the morning, wine and cheese each evening and full concierge service. Shared bath.

Victorian Cottage Room:

One queen size bed with 600 thread count sheets, down bedding, and plush terry robes. Decorated in the style of a quaint Victorian Garden Cottage. Shabby Chic, but more Chic than Shabby. Includes fresh gourmet breakfast in the morning, wine and cheese each evening and full concierge service. Shared bath.

The Library:

Round room with fireplace. Queen size bed is pull-out sofa with thick memory foam mattress and extra thick feather bed on top. Don't let the Sofa bed fool you as this is our most comfortable room. Because of the versatility in hiding the bed away, this room is perfect for those guests who are here working on genealogy.

Depending on the day and season, breakfast at the Worthington Mansion may vary. We offer the freshest foods available and make every effort to use organic and local products, providing only the healthiest and most delicious meals. Everything is made fresh from scratch. Breakfast entrees vary from quiche to omelets to breakfast Crème Brule, in addition to many staples that you can expect daily. Breakfast typically includes:

• Homemade riesling jelly
• Fresh baked organic scones
• Large variety of fresh coffees and teas
• At least 4 types of jams
• At least 2 hot meal options
• At least 3 types of breads
• Selection of fresh organic fruits

About The House:

Over the past year the home has been completely restored to its former glory. Little is known about the original set-up of the home as it has undergone at least two major changes: once around 1920, most likely when the home was sold to Theodore Wentz; and again when the home started being used as an advertising agency in 1955 until just recently.

It took three months to strip the woodwork on the first floor alone and underneath the layers of paint was beautiful Tiger Oak.

Throughout the home, you will find original work from local artists, both traditional and contemporary. Although the Mansion is well over 100 years old, the furnishings are an eclectic blend of both antique and Old World inspired contemporary pieces.
