Enjoy your stay in the Atlanta/Decatur area in the
private second-floor suite at Garden House Bed & Breakfast, a 1950's
bungalow in the close-in Decatur / Clairemont neighborhood.
The
comfortable suite, decorated in deep greens and dark plum includes a
large bedroom with a beautifully carved queen-size bed and huge closet;
a sitting room with cable television, desk, worktable and a sofa which
makes into a bed; and a large private bath. A crib is also available for
little ones.
For your enjoyment, you are welcome to relax on the
spacious screen porch overlooking gardens and a pond with a waterfall.
We provide refreshments, a library with a variety of books, a smoke-free
environment and fresh flowers from the garden in your room.
Whatever your tastes or dietary requirements, Rhoda and
Doug always enjoy preparing something special. Rhoda is famous for her
cinnamon rolls and muffins. Doug prepares a true Southern breakfast.
We have a Marta bus stop at the corner of Garden Lane,
which can take you to the Decatur Marta Station, located 4 blocks from
our home. If our schedules coincide, Rhoda or Doug are happy to give you
a lift to the Marta Station, where you can catch the train to Atlanta,
Fulton County Stadium, Five points, Underground, the Omni, and the
Georgia Dome. Connecting trains travel to Hartsfield Airport, the Civic
Center, the Arts Center, Buckhead and points north.
Those who arrive by
air are offered complimentary transportation from Decatur Marta Station to
Garden House Bed & Breakfast. We are very proud of our small Decatur

the city.
