Built in 1936 as a summer home, the lodge was turned into a bed &
breakfast inn in 1997 and is decorated with period pieces.
The bed & breakfast inn is a rustic, elegant log lodge nestled in
the Rocky Mountains on 2½ acres graced by mature Spruce and Ponderosa
Pines, surrounded by a grove of scrub oaks and lavender bushes, 10 miles
west of Colorado Springs, at the base of Pikes Peak.
The lodge is constructed of log siding, oak hardwood floors, and
knotty pine interior, for a true "lodge" look and feel. It has
5 uniquely furnished rooms, each with private baths, queen beds, and
cable TV/VCRs, some having private balconies and sitting benches.
Also on the property is a gazebo, and in season a volleyball net,
horseshoes and croquet for outdoor enjoyment.
Relax in the outdoor hot tub while taking in the beautiful foothill
mountains by day and the western stars by night.
Snuggle up by the massive rock fireplace in the evenings while
nibbling on our decadent nightly dessert, served either out on the
terrace or in the great room.
Enjoy an afternoon snack, and come with an appetite for our
spectacular 3 course breakfast each morning.
The Great Room:
The Great Room, with 16' ceilings, includes the famous 7 point elk,
Prince Albert, who graces our fireplace (ask about the story when you
check-in).
Rooms:
Room 1 - The Manitou Room:
A beautiful antique queen size bed, local historic photos, and a
private bath with tub and shower combination. Room for a roll-away for
an extra person if needed.
Room 2 - The Ramona Room:
Named after a local historic hotel and has historic photos, queen
size cherry sleigh bed, a sitting area with sitting bench that can
sleep an additional person, and a private bath with tub and shower
combination - our largest bedroom.

private bath with shower stall, and best of all, a private balcony

crisp clean air.

Decorated with Indian décor, has a beautiful queen sized knotty
pine log bed, a private bath with shower stall.
Room 5 - The Midland Room:
Named after the Midland Railroad which ran in the area in the early
1900's and is decorated with local historic railroad photos. It has a
beautiful four poster bed and breathtaking mountain views from the
windows. It has a private bath with shower stall.
Cabin and a Cottage:
Cabin:
The Cabin is a true log hewn cabin, built in 1909. It has 2
bedrooms. One with a queen size bed while the second having a bunk bed
with a double bed on the bottom and twin bed on the top.
The Cabin has a living room with a fireplace, cable TV/VCR, and
queen size sofa bed. The kitchen is fully stocked and equipped.
There is also a bathroom, carport, and private patio with beautiful
mountain views. It will sleep 7 people.
The Cottage:
The Cottage, built in 1938 with stone and wood, has such charm!
It has 2 stories. Downstairs is a kitchen, dining area, day
bed (which opens to a king bed or 2 twins), and a bathroom.
