About The Owners and Staff:
Joyce Guenther and Gary Goldstein have been married for
10 years. They have raised two children who are both full time college
students. They raised their children and worked in Santa Monica,
California up until May, 1998 when they discovered the small town of
Agua Dulce, California, located only 50 miles from the city.
This small ranch community has approximately 3500 people
and is located between Acton and Canyon Country off the 14 freeway.
There are several charming country restaurants, a general market, and
not much else! Make sure you get to the bank and gas station before you
arrive.
Joyce and Gary were looking for a country get away where
the stress of the city could be left behind. The bed & breakfast
guest ranch was created for all of you who enjoy the outdoors, cozy
country rooms, good food, horses and animals, and breath taking views.
Joyce, aside from working on the ranch, is a licensed
marriage, family, and child psychotherapist who has worked in the field
of psychotherapy for over 20 years. She still maintains a private
practice in West Los Angeles, CA and sees clients at the ranch for
counseling.
She also conducts couple retreats, woman and men's
groups, and works with kids and adolescents. Family counseling is also
available. Gary has practiced law, but currently is working on the ranch
full time taking care of the grounds, the horses, and the guests.
