Homer, Alaska is an area abundantly rich in natural
wonders and recreational possibilities.
Among the many activities are
salmon and halibut fishing, flightseeing, beachcombing, biking, four
wheeling tours, birding, kayaking, sailing, tours to Halibut Cove and
Seldovia, wildlife, horseback riding, and spectacular scenery. Our area
also offers some of the best restaurants in Alaska, outstanding art
galleries, shopping, and the world class Pratt Museum.
The Copper Helmet bed & breakfast is a ranch style,
single level home and is conveniently located just two miles from
downtown Homer.
A hearty country breakfast is served from 5:00 am to
9:00 am. Entrees consist of delicious dishes such as:
- Three cheese fancy omelet rolls
- Stuffed French toast
- Brunch enchiladas
- Very berry French toast
- Baked cheese blintz
- Waffles
- Crepes
- Fluffy biscuits and gravy
- Beverages
- Yogurt
- Breads - muffins - bagels

- Homemade goodies such as caramel pecan cinnamon

Rooms:
Our bed & breakfast offers three beautifully
decorated rooms, each with its own private bath and Alaska decor. Small
refrigerators, TV's, and soft comfortable bath robes are provided for
the convenience of our guests.
We have a large comfortable common area with a large
screen TV/VCR, and two dining areas. Enjoy the fantastic view of
Kachemak Bay and the Kenai Mountains from any of these rooms or from our
outdoor Hot-tub out on the deck.
Eagle Room - Sleeps 4
This room offers a private bath, private entrance, a
wonderful view, refrigerator, TV, a queen size bed, twin bed and room
for a rollaway.
Moose Room - Sleeps 4
Private bath, California sized king bed, a set of bunk
beds, refrigerator and TV.
Wolf Room - Sleeps 2
Queen size bed, private bath across the hall from the
room, refrigerator, and TV.

How to find us: When entering town on the Sterling
Highway, turn left on Pioneer Avenue. Travel approximately one mile to
the three way stop, continue out East End Road two miles. Turn left on
Slavin Drive. We are the second house on the right, behind the American
Legion Hall.
