Itrabo Hills is a peaceful and relaxing bed and breakfast that overlooks a small valley of tropical fruits, with views to the sea and surrounding countryside. All rooms have either en suite or private bathroom, with direct access onto a small balcony with views. All rooms come with tea and coffee making facilities, DVD player, sky television, electric fan and air conditioning is available if requested. Room service is also available.

Itrabo Hills is located in Itrabo, a quiet Andalusian hillside village with stunning views of the sea and surrounding countryside. Itrabo is situated in the heart of the Costa Tropical and is ideally located for access to the local beaches (15 minute drive), and immediate sierras for hiking, cycling and mountain biking. The nearby historic towns of Salobrena and Almunecar are only 15-20 minutes away and offer shopping, restaurants, nightlife and beaches. Itrabo is also close to the historic city of Granada and the Alhambra, only 45 minutes drive.

House:

The house is cool, light and spacious with several areas to, dine, read or simply relax. Cool down in our plunge pool, sunbathe on one of our many terraces or simply relax under the canopy of the grape vine. Ward off the winter evening chill in front of the fire place after a days skiing or hike.

Rooms:

We offer three double rooms and one single. The rooms are light, airy and spacious with balcony views towards the hills. Two double rooms come with en-suite bathrooms with a separate private bathroom for the remaining double room. Each room has a ceiling fan, and air conditioning is available if required.

Entertainment:

Each of the double rooms have sky television and DVD players and we offer a large selection of DVD films for your viewing. Board games and books of various interests are offered for your leisure in the reading room and lounges.

Breakfast:

We offer a large breakfast to start your day with a mouth watering array of fresh fruits, fresh juices, fruit smoothies, cereals and home made breads and muffins. Room service is available and special dietary requirements can be catered for with prior notice.

Lunch:

Packed lunches can be prepared for you for the day by prior request with the food and sandwich fillings of your choice. Alternatively why not take with you the special Itrabo Hills picnic pack for two offering you a selection of picnic dips and snacks, canapés, cold meats, a selection of cheeses and wine, complete with picnic rug, plates, wine glasses, serviettes and cutlery. The picnics come complete with maps and directions to reach our favourite picnic spots picked for their views, natural beauty and seclusion.

Dinner:

We offer a three course a la carte menu of Mediterranean North African cuisine. Dine in our candle lit dining room or one of the many terraces.

Itrabo is situated in the heart of Costa Tropical, Andalucia. The area gets its name from the sub-tropical climate it receives with warm winters and long hot summers, which allows it to grow exotic crops such as sugar cane, bananas and mangoes. Itrabo is ideally located for access to the fantastic walking and cycling opportunities of the immediate sierras and the waterfalls and natural pools of the rio verde. It is close for exploring the nearby local villages and just 15 minutes from the Mediterranean coast and the lively picturesque beach resort towns of Salobrena and Almunecar.

Further afield Itrabo sits between the natural parks of La Axarquia and the Alpajarras both of which are just 30 minutes drive away. Itrabo is 45 minutes drive from the historic and bustling city of Granada and the spectacular Alhambra Palace and gardens and just one hour from the alpine skiing and walking opportunities of the mighty Sierra Nevada.
