The four units are set in an old established garden that offers a
tranquil ambience, swimming pool and privacy from other guests. All
rooms have an ADSL broadband wireless internet connection, private
telephone lines and DSTV.
Craighall Park is located in the northern suburbs of Johannesburg and
is central to business and shopping districts of Rosebank, Hyde Park,
Sandton, Randburg, Braamfontein and downtown Johannesburg.

Yellow Room:
Large bright north-facing twin-bedded unit with en-suite bathroom
(shower and bath), separate entrance and opening up onto its own large
patio.
Blue Room:
Painted in a calming pale cornflower blue, this double room has a
queen bed and en-suite bathroom (shower over the bath).
Earth Room - (option of self-catering and disabled friendly):
Self-contained unit comprising large room with twin-beds, and
open-plan living area with underfloor heating and fully equipped
kitchenette. The en-suite bathroom has shower and bath. Access to the
unit is on level ground through double doors; in addition strategic
safety handles in bathroom make this unit disabled friendly.
Cottage - (option of self-catering):
Self contained cottage with one bedroom (queen bed) en-suite
bathroom (shower and bath) and large living room with fully-equipped
open-plan kitchen. A queen size sleeper couch in the living room
provides an extra bed for a family. The cottage opens up onto a
spacious enclosed patio - a sun-trap in winter and shaded by the
branches of a huge leafy oak in summer. Loungers and table and chairs
allow guests to make the most of Johannesburg's balmy summer evenings
and crisp winter days. Own telephone line. Ideal for longer stays.

Zac Gumbo helps Liz manage the bed and breakfast and is available for

Liz has a special insight into her home city having taught at Wits
University for over 20 years in art history and heritage studies. She is
also Chair of Joburbs Tourism Association which covers greater Rosebank
and the northern suburbs of Johannesburg.

Liz at Lancaster is very conveniently located for general access to
local shopping and amenites. There are several local shopping areas
within easy reach.
The closest is half a block away: corner Lancaster and Clarence, a
two minute walk. There is a Spar general grocer open 7 days a week, a
greengrocer, hairdresser, takeaway pizzeria, chemist and doctor. At the
Dunkeld shopping centre: corner Jan Smuts and Bompas, there is a whole
range of shops including an autobank, a bakery and coffee shop, St
Anna's restaurant, a hardware, a 7/11, a liquorstore, etc. And then
slightly further in the other direction is the Colony shopping centre
which also has a whole range of stores including a Postnet, a 7/11, a
pub, restaurants, etc. Liz at Lancaster is close to the restaurant nodes

right at 1st set of traffic lights into Bompas Road. Follow Bompas
Road traveling over 2 traffic lights and at the T-junction turn right;
2nd left and 1st right into Lancaster Avenue; we are 8 houses along on
