St. Ann's House is a small, quiet and friendly, family run guest house situated just 10 minutes walk from Inverness town centre.

This quiet, family run establishment has a comfortable lounge for the sole use of guests.

A restricted licence allows both alcoholic and soft drinks to be served to guests.

There is private off street parking available for 4 vehicles.

The house is a Victorian sandstone house originally built for Post Master in 1880. The breakfast room and conservatory, which give guests direct access to well admired rear gardens, were added later while maintaining the feel and original design of the house.

The secluded garden is a feature of St Ann's House and guests are welcome to spend time in this tranquil setting.

St. Ann's House is a Scottish Tourist Board 3 Star Guest House and AA 3 Diamond Guest Accommodation.

Rooms:

St. Ann's House has 6 bedrooms comprised of 1 single, 4 double/twin and 1 family.

All bedrooms are designated non smoking.

All bedrooms are equipped with:

  • hairdryer
  • colour television
  • tea and coffee making facilities

All bedrooms (except the single) have private en-suite facilities, the single having access to a separate private bathroom.

Food and Drink:

A full Scottish breakfast is served each morning in the spacious garden conservatory.

Being so close to the town centre, there is a good choice of restaurants and pubs nearby where other meals can be obtained.

Your hosts, Graham and Brenda Wilson will be very happy to advise you on the best eating places, if asked.

Activities:

Inverness is an ideal holiday base with many local attractions - such as Cawdor Castle and Culloden Battlefield, both just a short drive from the centre of town.

Not to be missed are cruises on Loch Ness, with every chance to spot the famously elusive monster, or dolphin watching boat trips on the Moray Firth where you are almost bound to spot these entertaining creatures.

Hill walking, forest walks and bird watching are all available nearby.

There are 28 golf courses to choose from, all within an hour's drive.

Every weekend of the summer there is a Highland Games event taking place somewhere in the Inverness-shire area.

The ski slopes of Lecht and Aviemore are only an hour away by car.

Your Hosts:

St Ann's House is run by a husband and wife team.

Graham served 35 years in British Merchant Navy retiring as Master Mariner.

Brenda, looked after home and family (three sons) before attending Catering College as a mature student and gaining excellent catering diplomas.
