Hillview Cottage is a traditional Scottish
Guest House in an exclusive rural location.
Hillview Cottage is bounded by woodland and fields, with
uninterrupted views across to the Gargunnock Hills. Staying at Hillview
Cottage allows you to have a rural feel to your Scottish holiday and yet
be close to all the main visitor centres like Stirling, Edinburgh,
Glasgow, The Tossachs and Loch Lomond. William Wallace country is just
up the road!
Built in the 1700s, Hillview Cottage provides a warm, friendly and
interesting environment in which to relax and reflect on your day's
travel. We have two lounges, one with a digital wide screen stereo TV,
the other with a wood burning stove, hand made by the Dowling Brothers
of Newton Stewart.
We have ample secure parking facing onto garden and woodland.
Our prices for our bed and breakfast are per person (two sharing) including a
full choice of breakfast and home baked bread available.
We are always happy to make reductions for group bookings or stays of
five nights or more.
Dinner can also be ordered in advance. If interested in dinner, then
please ask for current prices.
I can also give information on no hassle car hire.
Rooms:
With comfort in mind, all beds are orthopaedic, and no two guest
bedrooms have adjoining walls. All the rooms are ensuite, with tea,
coffee, biscuits, remote colour TV, and central heating.
The rooms in the 300 year old cottage wing have walls nearly three
feet thick.
The main lounge, with its wood burning stove and magnificent views,
is an ideal place to relax after an enjoyable days touring.
Location:
Hillview Cottage is ideally located for access to central Scotland,
being only six minutes drive from the M9 motorway, and then only 35
minutes to both Glasgow and Edinburgh. We are uniquely placed for a
touring holiday in Scotland.
Stirling, with its castle and the William Wallace Monument are only
ten minutes drive. The Trossachs, with some of the most beautiful
scenery in Scotland are only twenty minutes drive.

Wildlife:
The Scottish Stag:
The Scottish Stag is one of the enduring images of Scotland, found
grazing in the fields at the back of Hillview Cottage during long warm
summer evenings.
The Highland Cow:
Now an icon of Scottish wildlife, the highland cow is the only one
in Britain allowed to have long horns.
The Thistle:
The thistle is the national flower of Scotland, and is found
growing in the hedges around Hillview Cottage.

Loch Lubnaig:
Loch Lubnaig, only a twenty minute drive from Hillview Cottage, is
deep into the highlands.
Stirling Castle:
This castle provides a breathtaking view. Worth the trip for the
view alone.

Le Cottage de Hillview est une maison écossaise traditionnelle en
milieu rural. Elle fait la liaison entre les bois et les champs et présente
des vues imprenables sur les collines de Gargunnock.
Construite au 18 ème siècle le Cottage de Hillview offre un
environnement chaleureux et calme dans lequel vous pourrez préparer la
suite de votre séjour.
Nous avons deux salons, l’un avec une télévision numérique grand
écran et l’autre avec un poële à bois fabriqué par des artisans de
Newton Stewart. Pour un meilleur confort tous nos lits sont ergonomiques
et les chambres n’ont pas de murs contigus avec les chambres voisines.
Toutes les chambres ont le thè, le café, des biscuits, la télévision
en couleur avec télécommande, le chauffage central et une douche ou
une salle de bains privée.
Le Cottage de Hillview est idéalement placé pour accèder à
l’Ecosse centrale car il est situé à 7 minutes de l’autoroute A9
qui vous mène en 35 minutes à Glasgow ou à Edinburgh. Notre situation
est unique pour une visite touristique de l’Ecosse. Stirling avec son
château et le monument de William Wallace sont à seulement dix minutes
de voiture. Les Trossachs, un de plus beaux paysages d’Ecosse, ne sont
qu’à 20 minutes. Nous disposons d’un grand parking sécurisé
devant la maison.

Hillview Häuschen ist ein traditionelles schottisches Gasthaus in
einer exklusiven landwirtschaftlichen Position. Es wird durch Waldland
und Felder, mit ununterbrochenen Ansichten herüber zu den Gargunnock Hügeln
gesprungen.
Errichtet im 1700s, liefert Hillview Häuschen ein warmes,
freundliches und interessantes Klima, in dem auf Spielräumen Ihr Tages
sich entspannen und sich reflektieren.
Wir haben zwei Aufenthaltsräume, einen mit einem digitalen
Fernsehapparat des breiten Schirmes, der andere mit einer hölzernen
brennenden Ofenhand, die von den Dowling Brüdern des Newtons Stewart
gebildet wird. Mit Komfort im Verstand, sind alle Betten orthopädisch,
und keine Schlafzimmer mit zwei Gästen haben anliegende Wände. Alle Räume
haben Tee, Kaffee, Biskuite, Remotefarbe Fernsehapparat, Zentralheizung
und ensuites Dusche oder Badezimmer.
Hillview Häuschen sitzt ideal für Zugang nach zentrales Schottland,
seiend nur 7 Minuten fahren Sie von der Autobahn M9 und dann von nur 35
Minuten von Glasgow und von Edinburgh. Wir werden einzigartig für einen

con una mano burning di legno della stufa fatta dai fratelli di Dowling

ambiente caliente, amistoso e interesante en el cual relajar y reflejar

hecha por los hermanos de Dowling del neutonio Stewart.
