All applications are subject to our review process. We withhold the right to refuse your application if you do not meet the following requirements and/or do not meet our quality standards or are not an accepted type of property.

Our theme is to provide consistently complete, concise and comprehensive information always. Therefore we have the following quality standards in place for creating and maintaining a top rate bed and breakfast guide.

Quality Standards:

• Description:

  • Although we ask for a minimum of 250 words as a description, we endeavor to have descriptions of 1000 to 1500 words. If we are not able to increase your listing's description then we may refuse your application. A weak description has a negative effect on our site.

• Pictures:

  • All listings must provide 3 quality pictures that are of benefit to bed and breakfast users. Images of the bed and breakfast, rooms, gardens, common rooms, and/or surrounding areas are what we deem important.

  • Ideally, we prefer not to use small images and if we encounter small images we will endeavor to work with the small images by making some adjustments. If we are unable to make adjustments to the small images then we may refuse the application. A small image to us is any picture less than 200 pixels wide and/or 200 pixels in height.

• Email:

  • All listings must have an email form. Therefore, in order to be part of bnbchoices.com's web site, innkeepers must have an email address and innkeepers must have the ability to retrieve and send emails.

  • Due to the fact that we serve the Internet community, email is a mandatory requirement.

• Questionnaire:

  • To help maintain our quality of information throughout our whole web site, all innkeepers must complete our questionnaire in its entirety. Incomplete questionnaires or questionnaires completed in all upper case may be refused.

• Format:

  • bnbchoices.com has a set format to maintain consistency amongst each listing. Hence we are the sole determiner of what is bold, italicized, the font color, the font size, the font position, the font case, etc. We are the sole determiner of how each listing is organized and presented.

Accepted Properties:

• Private home bed and breakfast, villas, farm stays, manor house, plantation house, apartments, cottages, pension, château, castle, or spas

• Historic or country inns

• Guest ranch, dude ranch or working ranch

Subject To Review:

• A unique form of a bed and breakfast such as boat charters

• Hostels are subject to review and will be accepted if we feel that the hostel in question will be of interest to travelers.

• Lodgings with more than 20 rooms are subject to review with no guarantees for acceptance.

Properties That Are Not Accepted:

• Motels or hotels that belong to a chain or franchise.
