The Richmond Guest House is a bed and breakfast situated in central Wellington.
Managed and run by John Cairns, it has operated as a successful guest
house since 1993.
We offer clean, comfortable accommodation with guests' kitchen and
dining room, television lounge with Sky & Saturn TV, laundry and
telephone along with complimentary tea, coffee and free parking.
There are single, twin, double and triple rooms, each with their own
ensuite bathroom.

Directions:
From the Northern Motorway:
Continue along the motorway following the signs for the airport -
this will take you into Ghuznes Street. At the end of Ghunzes
Street turn right into Taranaki Street then immediately left into
Vivian Street. Continue straight ahead, across Tory Street and
Cambridge Terrace then go up the hill on Pirie Street. At the
intersection turn right into Brougham Street. We are 100 metres down
on the right hand side. Park directly outside the Richmond.
From the Airport:
By car follow directions to Wellington city centre via the Mount
Victoria tunnel. After the tunnel do a complete circle around the
one way system on Dufferin Street, Rugby Street, Sussex Street and
into Buckle Street. Then go straight ahead into Elice Street (keeping
Cambridge and Kent Terrace on your left), Brougham Street is then
second on the left. This takes approximately 10 minutes in a taxi or
by the Super Shuttle.
From the Ferry:
There is a free bus that runs from the ferry to the railway station
or it is a short 10 minute trip to the Richmond by the Super Shuttle
or taxi. By car go left onto Aotea Quay which leads onto Waterloo
Quay, then Jervois Quay and into Cable Street. At the end of Cable
Street turn right into Kent Terrace. At the Kentucky Fried Chicken
turn left into Pirie Street and at the intersection turn right into
Brougham Street, the Richmond is 100 metres down on the right hand
side.
From the Railway Station:
From the railway station there are various options of transport.
The Richmond is on the Super Shuttle route also bus numbers 2, 5 and 6
come up Pirie St (which is just one street away). Alternatively it is
just 5 minutes in a taxi.
