Art Deco:
Discover Art Deco! In winter tours start on Saturday,
Sunday and Wednesday at 10 am or 2 pm. Daily walks from 01. October
until Queens Birthday (early June). Or explore our fascinating townscape
at your own pace with the help of a self guided tour map or in the
company of your own private guide.

you refreshed. Or relax your body and mind with a professional
in-house massage of your choice.
Cape Kidnappers Gannet Colony (Oct - Apr):
Unimog, tractor/ trailer and 4WD bikes drive along the
beach (dependent on the tide). The overland trip via Summerlee sheep
& cattle station by air-conditioned coach has fixed departure times
(1.30pm). All trips last between three and four hours.
Dinner with the Winemaker:
This is the highlight for every wine-buff staying at The
Master's Lodge! Enjoy a private dinner with a local winemaker and hear
the masters of viticulture talk about their secrets. Sample the fruits
of their award-winning labour. (German and/or English spoken).
Fly-fishing:
Take a break and join one of the best local fishing
guides in pursuit of the trout in gin clear water. You name the means of
transport: car, jetboat, helicopter. All equipment provided. Prices on
application.
Garden and Parks:
Garden lovers take note. Hawke's Bay is a floral feast -
parks and gardens abound! The specially created Hawke's Bay Garden
Directory offers you a showcase of the beautiful gardens of our
district.
Golf:
You have the pick of four Championship Golf courses
within half an hour: Napier/Maraenui, Napier/Waiohiki, Flaxmere,
Hastings/Bridge Pa. All golf gear (incl. motorised carts) can be hired.
Hot Air Ballooning:
High flyers, you will have the 'time of your life' by
enjoying Hawke's Bay from 400m above sea level. Weather and wind
permitting.
Winery Tours:
Let your private host take you on a 'voyage of
discovery' into the Hawke's Bay wine region and do not worry about
driving! You will have the chance to meet the winemaker/owner of the
estate personally and see behind the "scenes". Combine your
wine tasting with a relaxing al fresco lunch at one of the top wineries.
