Kooringa is surrounded by native bush and gardens,
overlooking Lake Taupo.
You have your own private guest suite with magnificent
Lake Viewsand private deck area. A generous breakfast with plenty of
variety is served in the conservatory overlooking the Lake. Please phone,

Kooringa is situated in sheltered Acacia Bay (2 minutes
walk to Lake) surrounded by bush and gardens with magnificent views of
Lake Taupo and Mount Tauhara.
The guest wing is tastefully furnished with sitting
room, TV, tea and coffee making facilities and bathroom. There are 2
bedrooms, one with queen size bed, the other with a double and single
bed and your own private deck area.
We are a retired professional couple, have traveled
extensively with our two sons, lived overseas and now enjoy a relaxed
life style in this beautiful area. We are within easy distance of
fascinating geothermal activity, famous Huka Falls, bush walks, golf
courses, hot pools, restaurants and numerous other attractions.
Our interests include gardening, sport, travel, books
and hospitality. A generous breakfast with plenty of variety is served
in the conservatory overlooking the Lake. We assure you of a warm
welcome and comfortable stay.
Directions:
From the North:
- Approaching Taupo, turn right off State Highway 1 at
the Acacia Bay sign onto Poihipi Road.
- Continue for another 400 meter.
- Turn left at the Acacia Bay sign into Kaihua Road.
- Then right onto Acacia Bay Road.
- Follow the road for another 4 km onto Wakeman Road
then left into Ewing Grove.
From the South:
- On State Highway 1 through Taupo, cross the bridge
and first left onto Norman Smith Street.
- Turn left onto Acacia Bay Road.
- Follow the road for another 4 km onto Wakeman Road
then left into Ewing Grove.
