Harpers is a bed and breakfast homestay accommodation in Lake Wanaka where friendliness, comfort and visitors needs are a priority.

We provide a tranquil, peaceful and quiet environment where you are surrounded by our extensive garden.

Your hosts, Jo and Ian, are true 'kiwis' who have traveled and lived in various parts of the world. In fact we first met while traveling overseas. We have been home hosting for several years and pride ourselves on sharing good, southern, Kiwi hospitality. We also gain a lot of pleasure from the world coming to our home. Because we have lived in the Wanaka area for many years we can share a lot of local knowledge.

Come and spend 2 - 3 days and explore this magic region. On arrival, join us and enjoy the unobstructed views of Lake Wanaka and mountains from our balcony, with a drink and hot muffins.

In the morning, share breakfast with us and savour the smell of freshly baked bread and freshly brewed coffee while admiring the lake and mountain views. It will almost certainly be a highlight of your holiday.

Facilities:

Harpers Bed and Breakfast has two guest rooms in a private area of our home. One is a double room (king size bed) with en-suite and the other a twin room with adjacent private bathroom which has both a bath and a shower. The beds are very comfortable with quality bedding and all have electric blankets.

We serve a continental breakfast which is enhanced by freshly made pancakes.

Your hosts, Jo and Ian, like to share breakfasts with guests and enjoy the interesting conversations that are generated at this time.

We enjoy a smoke free environment. Laundry facilities are available.

Our garden has a pool fed by a natural spring, a rockery and a shaded area.

Ian's lawn always gains favourable remarks from guests. We love to share our garden and welcome you to explore it at your leisure.
