Located in Oriental Bay, Glenalton House is a short walk to the city and the
perfect place to stay while visiting Wellington.
Relax by the open fires, meet a kiwi family, play the grand piano, or
snooker in the grand old style billiard room.
There are two beautiful and well appointed guest rooms, each with tea and
coffee facilities; the ensuite room has a king bed, large desk, harbour and
garden views. The second queen room has a couch, desk and overlooks the
garden to the harbour, it has a bathroom nearby.
A sumptuous breakfast is served at a time to suit you. For dinner there are
some of the best restaurants in Wellington within a short walk. Personalised
tours, activities and child-care can be arranged. We are only a short walk
from the inner city and the Oriental Bay Beach and the national museum (Te
Papa).
