Elm Tree House is a spacious and elegant 1920's
residence, set in a large garden and close to all of Christchurch's main
amenities.
Extensive renovations and the addition of private
ensuite bathrooms are in sympathy with the original style created by the
first owner, Mr. Eddie England, Christchurch's leading architect of the
time, and now nationally recognized with a New Zealand Historic Places
Trust listing.
Elm Tree House is located on the City bus route, 10 to
15 minutes from the airport, Trans Alpine Rail, Hagley Park and a short
3 to 5 minute walk away to many fine restaurants, antique and specialty
shops.
After 16 years of living and working around the world,
your hosts Karen and Allan Scott returned to our beautiful city in 1995
to establish the finest in quality hosted accommodation.
