Edge Water Boutique Homestay is located on the sea front
in Wellington. We are only 10 minutes from city and airport.
We have 4 large airy bedrooms. King room with ensuite,
queen room with ensuite, queen room with bathroom share, and single twin
with bathroom share.
We serve gourmet breakfast of freshly squeezed orange
juice, home made breads, and egg dishes. Dinners are also available on
request. We are ex-restaurant owners and love to entertain.
Edge Water provides boutique bed and breakfast
accommodation for the discerning. We are located in Seatoun which is a
historic seaside village where waterfront houses were originally built
as convalescent and holiday homes.
Located on a historic Maori site at the water's edge in
Karaka Bay, this Mediterranean-style home was built to an award-winning
design by David Lauder in 1976. Featuring expansive ocean views, Edge
Water offers four airy guest bedrooms with peaked cedar ceilings beneath
separate roofs.
Stella serves fresh fruits, home-made breads, pancakes and egg dishes
for breakfast in the dining room or alfresco in the inner courtyard or
on the guest balcony in the morning sun. Dinner is also offered,
specializing in premium quality meats, seafood and game. As
ex-owner/chef of an award-winning Wellington restaurant, Stella's motto
is "fresh is best".
Edge Water was featured on CNN International's "Hot Spots"
program April 2000, and on Documentary New Zealand April/May 2000.
