We sailed halfway around the world to find this
beautiful, quiet place in the heart of the Bay of Islands. We would like
to share this with you for a while.
Aimeo Cottage is built on Okiato Point in Russell, a
secluded peninsula overlooking the Bay of Islands. Only a stone's throw
from the site of New Zealand's first capital and just across the bay
from Waitangi, where British and Maori leaders signed the historic
Treaty in 1840.
Your accommodation is a comfortable, private,
self-contained studio. We also provide a double bedroom with en-suite
and separate access. We serve continental or cooked breakfast in our
spacious living-room or on your own porch. Dinner is available on
request.
Guests staying three nights or more are invited to a
day-sail on our 35' cruising yacht (weather permitting).
Only 10 minutes drive away is Russell, the site of many
historic buildings, an interesting museum and art galleries.
There are bushwalks starting right at our door; we
provide advice for sightseeing or local tours. Golf-course,
tennis-courts, bowling-greens and beaches are close by.
Holiday Home:
A 3 bedroom holiday home is available also.
The home has a kitchen, dining, living area, spacious
terrace with outstanding view across the Bay of Islands, safe off road
parking, laundry, linen and cleaning.
