Vallacchi is a typical Tuscany farmhouse, dating back to the first
half of 18th century.
The farmhouse has been restructured with modern comforts but while
maintaining its original characteristics.
The farm extends for 10,000 square meters in a pure valley known as
the Valle dell'Egola. The valley is seated in front of the old church of
S. Giovanmni a Corrazzano. The valley is incredibly beautiful. This area
provides you with a wonderful landscape and offers you the typical
colors of Tuscany in every season.
Our guests can enjoy a comfortable atmosphere when staying with us.
This adds warmth to a peaceful holiday in the Tuscany countryside. You
will be in a close contact with nature and enjoy the typical farm stay
fragrances and flavors.
Life is simple here, but generous in respecting nature as we do not
use pesticides, herbicides and chemical products. Instead, we prefer an
approach that works in harmony with nature as is typical of many
agricultural programs here. Everything such as soil, insects, grass,
plants and animals develop, reproduce and maintain their natural life
cycle.
We also have farm animals. We have geese, chickens, donkeys, a horse,
dogs and cats. Our farm animals definitely add value to your experience
while staying with us.
Dinner With The Family:
Special care is dedicated to the food which is natural and biological
(organic). Our property is not too big and so mainly we produce
vegetables. We go to the nearby country peasants for oil, wine, honey,
cheese, cereals and meat.
At Vallacchi we all eat together at the some table. This is the
traditional way for Tuscan families to eat. You will eat, joke and meet
new people while drinking some typical local wines.
The Rooms:
The bedrooms are located on the 1st floor of the farmhouse. The rooms
are medium sized and well lit. Each room allows you to admire the
surrounding landscape.
All bedrooms are furnished in a very simple, clean and decorous way.
Weekly change of linen and towels is done for our guests. Prices include
daily cleaning, electricity, warm water, heating and room cleaning at
the beginning and at the end of the stay.
Geranio Room:
Geranio Room is 16 square meters on the southeast side and equipped
with a detachable double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawer and can have
up from 2 to 5 persons if coupled with Lavanda Room.
Lavanda Room:
The Lavanda Room is also 16 square meters and offers a detachable
double bed, wall cupboard, Chester drawers and if it is necessary you
can have another single bed.
Both Geranio and Lavanda share one bathroom (in communes) with
shower, toilet and wash-basin.
The Margherita Room:
The Margherita Room is 18 square meters and is situated on the
southwest side of the building. This room is equipped with a separable
double bed and a bathroom in suite. It is possible to have a little
bed for children also.
The Apartments:
The apartments, on the ground floor of the farmhouse, have been
obtained from the old stables, preserving the typical Tuscany farmhouse
characteristics.
All have an exclusive open space, furnished with table, chairs and
umbrellas.
Simply furnished, they offer the guests a pleasant stay. All are
equipped with kitchen facilities and linen for bedrooms, bathrooms and
kitchen, changed weekly. Prices include water, warm water supply,
cooking gas, electricity, heating and cleanings at the beginning and at
the end of the stay.
Gelsomino:
Single room which provides 35 square meters on the southwest side.
Furnished by a large detachable bed and one double divan-bed,
wardrobe, wall cupboard and Chester drawers. The kitchen area is
equipped with dishes for four persons. There is a bathroom with
wash-basin, bidet, bath-basin and toilet.
Rosa:
Double room which provides 35 square meters on the northwest side.
Located near entrance hall with small cooking area equipped with
dishes for four persons and furnished by a double divan-bed, table and
chairs; large bedroom with Chester drawers and wardrobe. There is a
bathroom with wash-basin, shower, bidet and toilet.
Nespolo:
This apartment provides 54 square meters of space and is located on
the southeast side. This room provides two bedrooms. One bedrooms has
a large bed, wall cupboard and Chester drawers. The other rooms
provides a large detachable bed or castle, Chester drawers and if it
is necessary is possible to have another single bed. Also provides is
a wardrobe, kitchen, bathroom with shower, wash basin and toilet.

Together with Loredana, you can learn how to prepare and
cook traditional Tuscan cuisine. You can also go shopping with us at the
local producers and to the market. Together we'll eat the dishes you
prepared! We'll open a nice bottle of local wine and enjoy!
Activities:
You can visit Egola's Valley Romanesque Parish Church of
S. Giovanni a Corazzano.
There's lots to see and do here. The area offers you the
opportunity to enjoy country walks or some hiking in the mountains. You
can also do some mountain biking.
There are trips for all people. From historical to
botanical to environmental nature trips.
Around Vallacchi there is really beautiful horse back riding and
donkey riding too!
