What should you expect when you stay at Residenza Solferino Rome?
It's a 1960's villa, completely restored. There are 10 apartments in
total. Some apartments have 4 beds while the others have 6 beds.
All apartments have an independent entrance, private bathroom with
shower, air conditioning, heating, direct dial telephone, surround sound
television, computer, printer, fax, built-in kitchen unit and car park.
All apartments are luxuriously fitted with durable and high quality
furnishings.
The same high quality applies to the external decor along with the
grounds of the property. Upon arrival, the driveway, paved with its
river cobblestone mosaic, helps provide you with an enchanting entrance
into the villa. Additionally, there are water games, a swimming pool, a
fountain, rocks garden and high quality garden furniture to ensure your
total relaxation.
There is a reception with porter's lodge. Here a guard, help and
maintenance service are provided.
Shared facilities are heating, air conditioning, hot water, running
and reserve water supply, electric power supply, switchboard.
Special rates are available for those that need a shuttle service,
car hire, bicycle or scooter rental.
Rome:
Rome has no need of an introduction. Unparalleled throughout the
world for its artistic beauty, it is best experienced by walking along
the routes generally unvisited by mass tourism.
These "Spring-time Walks" are the best guides to Rome. They
recount the story of the city as you stroll around little known areas.
Take, for example, the walk through the Coppedè quarter, an area of
tightly knit streets adjoining the Viale Regina Margherita, where an
atmosphere of fantasy and invention has created a world that seems to
come from fable; or the walk through the Villa Borghese, where nature of
course reigns supreme but where art too has found a home in the form of
the museums and galleries that are scattered in and around this area.
Even the Tiber walk is unusual, inviting you to admire the river from
the high view point given by the many bridges that cross it: thirty
bridges, ancient and modern, span the Tiber in the stretch of river that
passes through the city.
Yet another route leads you through the back streets and roads of
Ancient Rome in which you can discover the "Madonnelle", the
little sacred effigies erected on the facades of buildings or on the
corners of the streets both for protection and as thanks for blessings
received: a walk to be conducted with your face up-turned as a mark of
respect to the Madonna. And not to forget, of course, the "Campo
dei Fiori" or, perhaps in the evening, a stroll around "Trastevere.
Location:
Residenza Solferino is in the northwest zone of the capital in Via
Aurelia, 15 minutes from St. Peter's and a stone's throw from the
"ring-road". This means that you have total freedom of
movement, traffic allowing, of course.
Arrival by car is as easy as following your nose, as it is also if
you come in from the direction of the Leonardo da Vinci Airport. It
could be thought that the historic city centre is more alluring, but the
Residenza Solferino Roma has more to offer: new apartments, luxuriously
fitted and furnished, a large garden shaded by trees for pleasant summer
evenings outdoors, easy parking, surround sound television, computer,
fax and printer facilities in each apartment and most importantly
minimal apartment and management fees. And all this for half price of
the city centre.
Not to mention the breakfast room and the little restaurant provided
for those tourists who prefer to get up in the morning without having to
think about cups, biscuits and coffee and who like to come home at night
after a tourist marathon without having to worry about going and
shopping for dinner.

La Residenza Solferino Roma è una villa anni ’60 completamente
ristrutturata. Vi sono stati realizzati 10 appartamenti alcuni da 4 ed
altri da 6 posti; precisamente quattro da 6 posti e sei da 4 posti.
Gli appartamenti hanno tutti ingresso indipendente, il bagno con doccia,
aria condizionata, riscaldamento, linea telefonica, TV con surround,
computer-stampante-fax, monoblocco-cucina, parcheggio.
Gli arredi sono di ottima qualità tendenti al lusso discreto con
diffusa atmosfera di solidità e qualità. La finitura degli esterni è
in linea con gli standard interni, in particolar modo è pregevole il
viale d’arrivo in mosaico di “ciottoli di fiume”, i giochi
d’acqua in Vasca, il giardino roccioso, gli arredi da giardino di
buona qualità.
E’ presente la Reception con alloggio del portiere, per offrire un
servizio di guardiania, assistenza e manutenzione. E’ a disposizione
il Ristorante, il Bar, la sala delle prime colazioni.
Roma:
Roma non necessita di presentazioni. Unica al mondo per le sue
bellezze artistiche, và vissuta attraverso “passeggiate” insolite
per il turismo di Massa.
Sono le “passeggiate di primavera” le migliori narratrici di
Roma, perché raccontano la città lungo itinerari non tutti consueti.
Come la visita al quartiere Coppedè, un ristretto agglomerato di
edifici, a fianco del Viale Regina Margherita, dove venne creato un
piccolo mondo fiabesco ricco di estro e di fantasia; o come la
passeggiata a Villa Borghese dove regna la natura, si, ma dove trova
posto anche l’arte, nei musei che a Villa Borghese e attorno ad essa
hanno sede.
Percorso insolito anche quello sul Tevere, da ammirare questa volta
dall’alto dei ponti che lo attraversano: tra antichi e moderni, sono
una trentina quelli compresi nel tratto urbano del fiume.
Inoltre, un itinerario nei vicoli e nelle strade della Vecchia Roma,
per scoprire le “Madonnelle”, le piccole edicole sacre poste sulle
facciate dei palazzi o agli angoli della strada sia come protezione sia
come ringraziamento per grazie ricevute. Una passeggiata a naso
all’insù in omaggio alla Madonna. Senza dimenticare “Campo de’
Fiori” e, magari di sera, “Trastevere”.
Dove Siamo:
Roma non necessita di presentazioni.
Abitare in un piccolo appartamento 4/6 posti letto a Roma, significa
avere un piacevole appuntamento con questa città meravigliosa. Il clima
romano è tale da essere sempre piacevole, le estati Romane con il
“Ponentino” a rinfrescare le serate Trasteverine, gli stupendi
colori primaverili, i dolci autunni che si protraggono fino a Dicembre
inoltrato ed i festosi Natale sono soltanto piccoli accenni ad una
piacevole realtà.
La localizzazione della Residenza Solferino è nella zona nord-ovest
della Capitale, precisamente in Via Aurelia, a 15 minuti da S.Pietro ed
a due passi dal Grande Raccordo Anulare. Il che vuol dire facilità di
spostamento totale, traffico permettendo, ovviamente.
Arrivando in auto si raggiunge intuitivamente, altrettanto dicasi per
chi proviene dall’Aereoporto Leonardo da Vinci.
Si dirà che il Centro Storico è più seducente, ma la Residenza
Solferino a prezzi più che dimezzati rispetto al Centro, può offrire
appartamenti nuovi, arredamento di gran lusso e pregio, ampio giardino
alberato per piacevoli serate all’aperto, parcheggio facile, la
tecnologia televisiva del surround, la dotazione in ciascun appartamento
di computer-stampante-fax . Cioè molti e validissimi argomenti di
soggiorno piacevole! Anche la saletta per le prime colazioni ed il
piccolo ristorante da 50 posti, offrono ulteriori argomentazioni di
confort, perché Chissà quanti turisti preferiranno alzarsi la mattina
Senza il pensiero di tazze, biscotti e caffè, o rincasare la sera Dopo
maratone turistiche e non aver dov uto pensare alla spesa per la cena!
