The bed and breakfast was restored with refined materials and furnished with ancient pieces, it is very well connected to downtown by train which allows you to reach the RAI Center in 5 minutes and the downtown in 15 minutes.

The rooms, presented with style, feature valuable cloths, are furnished with a TV, mini bar, air conditioning, hair dresser and high quality bed linen.

The always refined, rich and genuine breakfasts are served with care and refined service. Discretion and refinement are distinctive signs of the B&B Saxa Rubra Roma... an ideal place to study, to work, to visit Rome and to feel at home in a welcoming and refined environment.

The house is structured on two levels: a first floor and a characteristic garret completely created with chestnut wood.

Inside, you will find a comfortable environment which creates an oasis of relaxation. The double glass windows help ensure thermo-acoustic isolation.

Your be pleased to know that the electricity in your room shuts down when you turn off the light switch. This is the result of a special bioswitch. For those that enjoy Feng Shui, the benefit is that at night while sleeping, there is no electro-magentic field helping to ensure a more deep and peaceful sleep.

By Car:

• From the Ring Road take the exit N°6 Prima Porta and not Saxa Rubra-Centro RAI.
• Proceed always straight on for 1 km and go out the sign that says "Tiberina". You see the sign on your right.
• Afterwards turn left following the road sign Prima Porta.
• After having passed under the bridge of the Ring Road at 150 meters you will see on your right two big trees on the road, the restaurant "Il Frate" which has a white awing, a bar and a travel agency.
• Enter where there is an open gate in wrought iron near to the restaurant and on your left after two windows you will finally find the entrance of the bed and breakfast.

Near to the bed and breakfast there is the possibility of leaving your own car in a free, but safe parking place in so far as the area is very quite. The hostess of the house has been leaving her car there for many years!

By Train:

• From Termini Railway Station take the Tube Line A and arrive at the stop Flaminio. Exit at this stop and on your immediate right you will find the entrance to the urban down train Linea Nord Prima Porta.
• In 15 minutes, this train will take you to Prima Porta where the B&B Saxa Rubra Roma is located.
• Exit at Prima Porta station, turn the left and walk straight on for 2 minutes crossing Piazza Saxarubra. Here you will see in the center a building inside of which the district is located. In front you will find the ancient oranged hamlet at the feet of the verdant.
• After the restaurant "Il Trombone", a travel agency and a bar you will find on your left an entrance and the restaurant "Il Frate".
• Come inside and on your left and there you will find us.

Elle est très bien reliée au centre ville par le train navette urbain ligne nord qui permet de rejoindre le Centre RAI en 5 minutes et le centre ville en 15 minutes. Les chambres, réalisées en style avec des étoffes estimables, sont fournies de TV, minibar, air climatisé, séche-cheveux, linge de qualité.

L’atmosphère qu’on respire dans le B&B Saxa Rubra Roma est riche de suggestions, de détails de charme et de souvenirs qui coopèrent à donner à la maison une touche de charmante poésie. Tout est orchestré pour mener l’errant à vivre le séjour dans la “ Ville Eternelle “ selon l’ancien coutume latin-grec de l’ “ hospitalité sacrée”. La maison est structurée sur deux niveaux: un premier étage et une chambre mansardée caractéristique réalisée tout à fait avec du bois de châtaignier.

Le travail de restauration est résulté long et fatigant précisément parce que on a cherché de soigner chaque détail en se retrouvant souvent à la recherche de matériaux difficiles à trouver. Tout ça a été pensé et choisi dans le but de créer un milieu pas seulement accueillant mais surtout biologiquement sain pour qui le vit. Ainsi pour le carrelage a été choisi dans le respect de l’ équilibre psychophysique le “ cotto “ naturel, fait préparer exprès selon l’art ancien de l’un des plus renommés fours d’Orvieto. Mais le vrai protagoniste, celui qui se réserve la part du lion est le bois de châtaignier. Un raffiné projet et un habile travail de ce matérial soulignent les solutions architectoniques de la maison.

Chaque milieu est un oasis confortable de relax grâce même au choix de fenêtres à double verre qui offrent un’isolation thermo-acoustique.

L’installation électrique a été étudiée aussi avec particulière attention selon la doctrine chinoise du Feng-Shui. Grâce à l’application d’un spécial débrancheur ou bioswitch; quand on éteint la dernière lumière pendant la nuit, la chambre à coucher vient tout à fait isolée de la tension électrique qui normalement reste dans les câbles quand les lumières sont éteintes. Celui permet un sommeil dénué de champs électromagnétiques, mais il faut renoncer au radio-réveil, à la télévision dans la chanbre et au portable. L’installation hydraulique a été réalisé tout à fait en cuivre. Pour les murs elles ont étè utilisées des peintures écologiques, transpirantes et lavables. L’escalier qui mene à la chambre mansardée est rigoureusement en bloc de châtaignier comme les meubles de la cusine, les portes et le parquet et il termine avec une rampe romantique en fer battu héritage de la maison des montagnes de la grand-mére maternelle.

Tout est orchestré pour mener l’errant à vivre le séjour dans la "Ville Eternelle selon l’ancien coutume latin-grec de l’ hospitalité sacrée.

L'atmosfera, che si respira nel B&B Saxa Rubra è ricca di suggestioni, di dettagli di charme, di ricordi, che concorrono a dare alla casa un tocco d'incantevole poesia. Tutto è orchestrato per portare il peregrino a vivere il soggiorno nella "Città eterna", secondo l'antica usanza latino-greca della "sacra ospitalità". La casa è strutturata su due livelli: un primo piano ed una caratteristica mansarda realizzata completamente con legno di castagno.

Il lavoro di ristrutturazione è risultato lungo e faticoso proprio perché si è cercato di curare ogni dettaglio, ritrovandosi spesso alla ricerca di materiali difficilmente reperibili. Tutto è stato pensato e scelto con lo scopo di creare un ambiente non solo accogliente ma soprattutto biologicamente sano per chi lo vive. Così, per la pavimentazione è stato scelto, nel rispetto dell'equilibrio psico-fisico, il cotto naturale, fatto appositamente preparare, secondo l'antica arte, da una delle più rinomate fornaci di Orvieto. Ma il vero protagonista, quello che fa la parte del leone è il legno di castagno: una raffinata progettazione ed un'abile lavorazione di questo materiale sottolineano le soluzioni architettoniche della casa.

Ogni ambiente è un'oasi confortevole di relax grazie anche alla scelta di finestre a doppio vetro che offrono un isolamento termo-acustico.

Anche l'impianto elettrico è stato studiato con particolare attenzione, in base alla dottrina cinese del Feng - Shui: grazie all'applicazione di uno speciale disinseritore o bioswitch, di notte, quando si spegne l'ultima luce, la camera da letto viene completamente isolata dalla tensione elettrica, che di norma permane nei cavi quando le luci sono spente. Questo consente un sonno privi di campi elettromagnetici, ma occorre rinunciare alla radiosveglia, alla televisione in camera ed al cellulare. L'impianto idraulico è stato realizzato completamente in rame. Per le pareti sono state utilizzate pitture ecologiche traspiranti e lavabili. La scala che porta alla mansarda è rigorosamente in castagno massello (come i mobili della cucina, le porte ed il parquet) e termina con una romantica ringhiera in ferro battuto, eredità della casa montana della nonna materna.

魅力と思い出一杯のディテールに溢れるB&Bサクサ・ルーブラの雰囲気にはどこか人を魅惑するポエジーがあります。ギリシア／ラテンの世界以来伝統の「客を聖人のごとく扱うもてなし」の慣習に従って、外国からローマを訪れる方々に「永遠の都市」を存分に味わっていただくべく万全の用意をしております。宿泊施設には二フロアーあり、一階とすっかり栗材で作られた特徴的な屋根裏部屋からなっていす。

一つ一つのディテールを大事にした改装作業は、しばしば入手困難なマテリアルも必要としたため、非常に長い時間がかかりました。そして全ての材料、作業は単に居心地の良い空間を作ることを目的にしたのではなく、特にそれを利用する人の健康にとって良いように考えられています。このように人の心身のバランスを考えた上で床材にはオルヴィエートの一番歴史のある窯元にわざわざ焼かせた素焼き材を選びました。しかし同ホテルの改装において最も重要な役割を果たした主役は何と言っても栗材です。洗練されたデザインと見事な仕上げでこの建物を覆うこの素材が同B&Bの建築的特徴となっています。

防音／防温の上で非常に役に立つ二重ガラス窓を採用していることもあって、

各部屋はゆったりリラックスできる快適なオアシスです。

電気配線をする際にも中国の風水学に従って慎重な研究がなされました。バイオスイッチを取り付けてあるため普段では明かりを消しても配線にそって室内に残る電磁波が夜最後の明かりを消すと寝室内から完全に排除されますから電磁波から解放され非常に深い快適な睡眠が可能になります。ただしその間は電磁波が一切遮断されますからテレビ、携帯電話、ラジオなどのご利用はかないません。水道管のマテリアルにはすべて銅が使われました。壁の仕上げには透明、防水のエコロジカルなマテリアルが使われています。「屋根裏部屋」に通じる階段には台所の家具やドア、床材と同じく栗の心材が使われており、オーナーの祖母の山小屋から受け継いだ鍛鉄製のロマンチックな手すりがついています。
