To guarantee your
reservation the property holders would like to receive a down payment of
35% by credit card, which is not refundable in case of cancellation.
You'll find the account in the letter of confirmation. The balance of
65% has to be paid upon arrival. It is however possible to pay the whole
amount beforehand at once, by credit card. We ask your understanding
that the extra costs of 4%, are at your expense. There is a 100% amount
due of the reservation by cancellation within 72 hour before arrival day
18.00 o'clock with a maximum of 4 nights. Balance payment: only cash
money can be accepted. Private persons are not allowed to accept credit
cards or traveller cheques. Please note that the price includes all
taxes and services. However, some of the property owners ask an ID or a
deposit in cash above the balance payment. This is totally
refundable on your day of departure, less the expenses of any possible
damage(s). You can check the "details" of your
accommodation to check this out. |
This beautiful lounge boat "Excelsior" (1903) is one of the
most comfortable houseboats in Amsterdam.
You’ll feel like you have been reborn after a holiday at this
wonderful ship like so many other celebrities did while visiting
Amsterdam (the “Excelsior” once was the home of Bhagwan Shree
Rajneesh for example).
You will sleep in the giant master bedroom and share the bathroom,
living and kitchen.
We can assure you that you will have an unforgettable stay in our bed
and breakfast - Amsterdam houseboat compare to other places in
Amsterdam. You will experience the private, tranquil atmosphere of the
houseboat, where the swans and ducks will welcome you while sitting on
your own private terrace and the passing boats will give you a magical
feeling of excitement. And above all, your host will definitely give you
the quality service you deserve to make your visit in Amsterdam a
memorable one to last a lifetime.
From the the authentic 18th century "wood harbour" where
the “Excelsior” is moored it is a ten minute walk to the “the
Jordaan”, one of the oldest neighbourhoods of Amsterdam, where you
will find the “Anne Frank huis” and lots of shops and restaurants.
Please Note:
- Smoking is only allowed on the balconies or gardens.
- Please check the details of your chosen accommodation.
- Drugs (hard or soft) are not allowed.
- Some accommodations lie in a quiet environment, in nature or close
to other boats or apartments. We have to ask the guests to show some
courtesy to their neighbours.
- Only in case of permission of your host(ess) one may receive other
persons than the ones (or number of persons) agreed on in the
reservation form.
- Check-in is always after 3 p.m., check-out is before noon (12
o'clock).
- Everyone would be grateful if you keep and leave the
accommodations properly (not leaving the dishes etc.) and if you let
the host(ess) know immediately if there is any damage. Then he/se
can replace things, before new guests arrive.
- In case of breaking the rules the owner could ask you to leave the
accommodation immediately. It could cost his or her license.
- Advance payments will not be restored.
