Domaine de la Tour is a beautiful farmer
estate, dating from the 18th century and situated in the south of the
Calvados in Normandy.
Domaine de la Tour has been restored entirely in the style of former
days and is supplied with all modern conveniences. On the seven hectares
of our estate you will find tranquillity, nature and space.
During a walk on the estate you will enjoy the picturesque
surroundings: the view on the castle, dating from the time of Louis XV
and the forest and the fields around our domain.
Gîtes or Bed and Breakfast:
Do you want a relaxing week on holiday together, to enjoy a long
weekend with friends or a couple of days with the whole family? Then
Domaine de la Tour is something for you.
We have two magnificent, spacious holiday houses (gîtes) and four
bed & breakfast rooms. All are furnished in a personal way.
The gîtes are each suited for a maximum of eight people. They have a
comfortable living room with television, radio/CD-player and a well
equipped kitchen (cooker, coffee machine, water boiler, fridge,
dishwasher, microwave, washing machine and dryer).
Every gîte has four bedrooms. All these bedrooms have twin beds and
a private bathroom with shower, toilet and wash basin. In this way, you
are sure of a maximum of personal comfort.
Furthermore, each gîte has a big garden, including a terrace, garden
furniture and a large barbecue.
Our gîtes can be rented per week, midweek or for a long weekend.
It’s you who decides!
For the necessary shopping you do not have to drive very far. There
is a « hypermarché » at close distance, about five minutes drive from
Domaine de la Tour where you can get everything. Do you prefer to go out
for dinner? If you want, we can give you some information about the nice
restaurants in the neighbourhood.
Next to the gîtes, Domaine de la Tour has four bedrooms, which share
two bathrooms and toilets. It’s bed & breakfast! Therefore, a nice
French breakfast is included in the room rate.

Rooms:
Domaine de la Tour has a number of stylish rooms at your disposal:
- 1 room of 120 m2 with open stone fireplace and another room of 50
m2 on the ground floor
- 1 room of 120 m2 and a room of 50 m2 on the first floor.
The rooms can be independent or communicating with each other,
depending on your needs.
In addition, the possibility exists to enlarge the capacity with
200-250 people by putting a big party tent in our courtyard. Parking is
absolutely no problem; Domaine de la Tour has a large private parking.
Our rooms are suited for different events, such as weddings,
birthdays or cocktail parties. With a few people or a large group.
During these different occasions our terrace may also be used, in order
to fully enjoy our splendid surroundings.
If you would like to, we can organise the complete event together
with you (think of the catering, a photographer, a florist and/or a
band).
At Domaine de la Tour, a short or long stay is possible: you can rent
one of the rooms or the estate as a whole... for one or more days, or a
weekend. It is just what you prefer!
The Surroundings:
The Calvados is known as a rural region with a variety of hills,
fields and meadows, picturesque villages, old abbeys and not to forget
the beautiful beaches. It is the place of apples, crème fraîche,
cider, Camembert cheese and various kinds of fish.
Domaine de la Tour is centrally located regarding the most important
sights of the region and about:
- 20 minutes drive from Caen (the capital of the Calvados, with about
200,000 inhabitants)
- 30 minutes drive from the sea
- 15 minutes drive from La Suisse Normande and Le Pays d’Auge.
Domaine de la Tour is situated near the village of Saint-Pierre-Canivet.
This is about five kilometres from Falaise, a real country city with
10,000 inhabitants. Here you will find several facilities and sights,
including the castle of William the Conqueror and a few old churches.
The varied Normandy coast offers you several possibilities: the D-day
beaches and war monuments, rough coastal areas and well-known bathing
resorts like Cabourg, Deauville and Honfleur.
La Suisse Normande, the Normandy Switzerland, is a beautiful hilly
landscape. This wonderful area is perfectly suited for outdoor
activities such as walking, horse riding, canoeing, cycling and
climbing.
Le Pays d'Auge brings you with its charming, typical Normandy
villages and shops with their local delicacies the best you can get from
the Calvados.

Domaine de la Tour is situated approximately 640 km of Utrecht.
Practically the whole route is motorway. As from Utrecht, it will take
you about 6½ hours.

From the moment that you are on the motorway A13 Rouen – Caen,
follow the direction Caen until you arrive near the city. Here you
take the direction “Périphérique Sud”/Alençon/Rennes/Cherbourg.
Now you are on the southern ring road of Caen.
Continue to follow the ring road and take exit 13 – Porte
d’Espagne – Falaise. At the end of the exit you arrive at a
roundabout. Here, you take the direction Falaise. Now you are on the
N158, direction Falaise.
Continue to follow the N158, until near Falaise the road ends into
a roundabout. At this roundabout, take the direction Falaise. You
arrive at a second roundabout. Here you take the direction
Villers-Canivet. Now you are on the route D6. Quickly you arrive at a
third roundabout, here you continue to follow the direction
Villers-Canivet.
After a few minutes, you pass the hamlet La Jalousie/Cne de
Saint-Pierre-Canivet. About 500 metres after leaving this hamlet
(which is part of the village Saint-Pierre-Canivet) you see the drive
of Domaine de la Tour on your left side. Here you go left. After
approximately 1 kilometre you see the Parking sign. You have arrived!
From Paris:
You take the motorway Paris -> Rouen -> Caen.
From the moment that you are on the motorway A13 Rouen – Caen,
follow the direction Caen until you arrive near the city. Here you

- Via the Channel tunnel to Calais. Then, follow the route

roundabout. Here, you take the direction Falaise. Now you are on the
N158, direction Falaise.
Continue to follow the N158, until near Falaise the road ends into
a roundabout. At this roundabout, take the direction Falaise. You
arrive at a second roundabout. Here you take the direction

just before Falaise, you continue to follow the direction Caen –
N158. You will pass three roundabouts, continue to follow the
direction Caen. At the fourth roundabout, take the direction Falaise.
You arrive at a fifth roundabout. Here you take the direction
Villers-Canivet.
Now you are on the route D6. Quickly you arrive at the sixth
roundabout, here you continue to follow the direction Villers-Canivet.
After a few minutes, you pass the hamlet La Jalousie/Cne de
Saint-Pierre-Canivet. About 500 metres after leaving this hamlet
(which is part of the village Saint-Pierre-Canivet) you see the drive
of Domaine de la Tour on your left side. Here you go left. After
approximately 1 kilometre you see the Parking sign. You have arrived!
By Public Transport:
It is possible to come by train to Domaine de la Tour: trains go
until Caen. Here, you can be taken away by us (in consultation).
By Plane:
The city of Caen has the disposal of an airport, named Carpiquet,
about 10 minutes west of Caen. Here, you can be taken away by us (in
consultation).

Domaine de la Tour is een prachtig boerenlandgoed uit de 18de eeuw,
gelegen in het zuiden van de Calvados in Normandië. Het is volledig in
de stijl van vroeger gerestaureerd en biedt u alle comfort van deze tijd.
Op de zeven hectares van ons landgoed vindt u rust, natuur en ruimte.
Tijdens een wandeling over het landgoed kunt u genieten van de
schilderachtige omgeving: het uitzicht op het kasteel uit de tijd van
Lodewijk XV en de bossen en velden rondom ons domein.
Vakantiehuizen en B&B:
Wilt u samen gezellig een week onbezorgd op vakantie, genieten van
een lang weekend met vrienden of een paar dagen er op uit met de hele
familie? Dan is Domaine de la Tour iets voor u.
Wij hebben de beschikking over twee prachtige, ruime vakantiehuizen (gîtes)
en vier bed & breakfast kamers. Allen zijn op een persoonlijke
manier ingericht.
De gîtes zijn elk geschikt voor maximaal acht personen en beschikken
over een comfortabele woonkamer met televisie, radio/cd-speler en een
volledig ingerichte keuken (gasfornuis, koffiezetapparaat, waterkoker,
koelkast, vaatwasser, magnetron, wasmachine en wasdroger).
Iedere gîte heeft vier slaapkamers. Al deze slaapkamers hebben twee
1-persoons bedden en een eigen badkamer met douche, toilet en wastafel.
Op die manier bent u verzekerd van maximaal comfort.
Verder heeft elke gîte een royale tuin met daarbij een terras,
tuinmeubilair en een grote barbecue.
Onze gîtes zijn te huur per week, midweek of voor een lang weekend.
Het is net wat u het beste uitkomt !
Voor de benodigde boodschappen hoeft u niet ver te rijden. Er is een
hypermarché dichtbij, op vijf minuten afstand van Domaine de la Tour,
waar u alles kunt krijgen. Wilt u lekker uit eten gaan, informeer dan
bij ons naar de leuke restaurantjes in de buurt.
Naast de gîtes heeft Domaine de la Tour de beschikking over vier
slaapkamers die twee badkamers met toilet delen. Bed & breakfast dus!
Een prima Frans ontbijt is hier dan ook bij de prijs inbegrepen.

Zalenverhuur:
Domaine de la Tour heeft de beschikking over een aantal sfeervolle
zalen:
- een zaal van 120 m2 met open haard en een tweede zaal van 50 m2 op
de begane grond
- een zaal van 120 m2 en een zaal van 50 m2 op de eerste verdieping
De zalen kunnen afzonderlijk worden gehuurd of verbonden met elkaar,
dit afhankelijk van uw wensen.
Ook bestaat de mogelijkheid om dit uit te breiden met een grote
partytent op onze binnenplaats, zodat u ruimte heeft voor 200-250 extra
personen. Parkeren is geen enkel probleem; Domaine de la Tour heeft de
beschikking over een grote eigen parkeerplaats.
U kunt bij ons terecht voor verschillende evenementen, zoals het
vieren van bijvoorbeeld een huwelijk, jubileum, communie of een
verjaardag. Met een klein gezelschap of een grote groep. Bij deze
verschillende gelegenheden kan er tevens gebruik worden gemaakt van ons
terras, zodat u optimaal kunt genieten van onze prachtige omgeving.
Indien u daar prijs op stelt, kunnen wij samen met u het gehele feest
organiseren (denk aan het verzorgen van de catering, de fotograaf, de
bloemist en/of een band).
Bij Domaine de la Tour is een kort of lang verblijf mogelijk: u kunt
een van de zalen huren of het landgoed als geheel…voor een of meerdere
dagen, of een weekend. Het is net wat u het beste uitkomt!
Wilt u blijven overnachten? Naast onze fraaie zalen beschikt Domaine
de la Tour over 12 tweepersoons slaapkamers, waarvan acht elk voorzien
zijn van eigen douche en toilet en vier kamers met een gedeelde douche
en toilet.

De omgeving:
De Calvados staat bekend als landelijke streek met een variëteit aan
heuvels, velden en weilanden, pittoreske dorpjes, oude abdijen en niet
te vergeten de prachtige stranden. Het is dé plek van de appel, crème
fraîche, cider, camembert en de vis- en schaaldieren.
Domaine de la Tour is centraal gelegen ten opzichte van de
belangrijkste bezienswaardigheden in de regio en bevindt zich op:

buitenactiviteiten zoals uitgebreid wandelen, paardrijden, kanoën,
fietsen en klimmen.
Le Pays d’Auge biedt u met zijn sfeervolle, typisch Normandische
dorpjes en winkeltjes met lokale bourgondische producten het beste van
wat de Calvados in huis heeft.

Vanuit Nederland en België:
Domaine de la Tour ligt op ongeveer 640 km van Utrecht. Praktisch

N158 richting Falaise.
U blijft de N158 volgen, totdat vlakbij Falaise deze weg vanzelf
eindigt in een rotonde. Op deze rotonde neemt u de derde afslag,
richting Falaise. U komt nu bij een tweede rotonde, hier neemt u de
eerste afslag, richting Villers-Canivet. U bevindt zich nu op de D6. U
komt nu een derde rotonde tegen, u gaat rechtdoor en blijft op de D6,
richting Villers-Canivet.
Na enkele minuten rijdt u nu door het gehucht La Jalousie/Cne de
Saint-Pierre-Canivet. Ongeveer 500 meter na het verlaten van dit
gehucht (wat onderdeel is van het dorp Saint-Pierre-Canivet) ziet u de
oprijlaan van Domaine de la Tour aan uw linkerzijde. U slaat hier
linksaf. Na ongeveer 1 kilometer ziet u de parkeerplaats aangegeven. U
bent gearriveerd!
Vanuit Parijs:
- U neemt de snelweg Parijs -> Rouen -> Caen.
Vanaf het moment dat u zich op de snelweg A13 bevindt van Rouen
naar Caen blijft u deze volgen totdat u bij de stad Caen aankomt. Ter
hoogte van Caen, neem hier de richting “Périphérique Sud”/Alençon/Rennes/Cherbourg.
U bevindt zich nu op de zuidelijke ringweg van Caen.
Blijf deze volgen en neem afslag 13 – Porte d’Espagne –

Blijf deze volgen en neem afslag 13 – Porte d’Espagne –
Falaise. Aan het eind van deze afslag komt u op een rotonde. Hier
neemt u de eerste afslag, richting Falaise. U bevindt zich nu op de
N158 richting Falaise.
U blijft de N158 volgen, totdat vlakbij Falaise deze weg vanzelf
eindigt in een rotonde. Op deze rotonde neemt u de derde afslag,

U komt nu bij een vijfde rotonde, hier neemt u de eerste afslag,
richting Villers-Canivet. U bevindt zich nu op de D6. U komt nu een
zesde rotonde tegen, u gaat rechtdoor en blijft op de D6, richting
Villers-Canivet.
Na enkele minuten rijdt u nu door La Jalousie/Cne de Saint-Pierre-Canivet.
Ongeveer 500 meter na het verlaten van dit gehuchtje (wat onderdeel is
van het dorp Saint-Pierre-Canivet) ziet u de oprijlaan van Domaine de la
Tour aan uw linkerzijde. U slaat hier linksaf. Na ongeveer 1 kilometer
ziet u de parkeerplaats aangegeven. U bent gearriveerd!
Met Het Openbaar Vervoer:
Het is prima mogelijk om met de trein naar Domaine de la Tour te
komen: u kunt tot Caen met de trein reizen. U kunt hier door ons
worden afgehaald (in overleg).
Met Het Vliegtuig:
De stad Caen beschikt over een luchthaven, genaamd Carpiquet,
ongeveer 10 minuten rijden in westelijke richting vanaf Caen. U kunt
hier door ons worden afgehaald (in overleg).

profiter d’un long week-end entre amis ou quelques jours en famille ?
Alors le Domaine de la Tour vous correspond.
Nous disposons de deux gîtes magnifiques et spacieux ainsi que de
quatre chambres d’hôtes, chacun(e) aménagé(e) de façon personnelle.
Chaque gîte peut accueillir au maximum huit personnes et dispose
d’une pièce à vivre confortable, avec une télévision, micro-chaîne
et une cuisine complètement équipée (gazinière, cafetière,
bouilloire, frigidaire, lave-vaisselle, micro-onde, lave-linge et sèche-linge).
Quatre chambres (dans chaque gîte) munies de deux lits jumeaux et
d’une salle de bain individuelle (douche, toilettes et lavabo), vous
assurent un confort maximal.
De plus, chaque gîte a un jardin spacieux avec une terrasse, des
meubles de jardin et un grand barbecue.
Nos gîtes peuvent être loués pour une semaine, une mid-week ou un
grand week-end. Cela dépend de ce qui vous convient le mieux!
Vous n’avez pas à aller loin pour faire vos courses. Il y a un
hypermarché tout proche, à cinq minutes en voiture du Domaine de la
Tour, où vous pouvez trouver tout ce dont vous avez besoin. Vous voulez
sortir afin de vous régaler autour de bons petits plats ? Alors
demandez nous des adresses de restaurants sympathiques se situant dans
les environs.
En plus des gîtes, le Domaine de la Tour dispose de quatre chambres
d’hôtes, partageant deux salles de bain et toilettes. Un excellent
petit déjeuner français est compris dans le prix.

Location de Salles:
Le Domaine de la Tour dispose de plusieurs salles ayant beaucoup de
charme:
- une salle de 120 m2 avec cheminée et une autre salle de 50 m2 au
rez-de-chaussée
- une salle de 120 m2 et une salle de 50 m2 au 1e étage
Ses salles peuvent être indépendantes ou communiquer entre elles,
en fonction de vos besoins.
Il est aussi possible d’ajouter un barnum dans notre cours. Alors,
vous avez l’espace nécessaire pour 200-250 personnes supplémentaires.
Le parking n’est pas un problème : le Domaine de la Tour dispose
d’un grand parking privé.
Cet espace disponible vous donne la possibilité d’organiser de
nombreux événements : mariages, communions ou anniversaires … tout
cela en petit comité ou en groupe. A ces différentes occasions vous
pouvez, depuis notre terrasse, profiter pleinement de notre très bel
environnement.
Si vous le souhaitez, nous pouvons organiser votre événement avec
vous (pensez par exemple au traiteur, au photographe, au fleuriste et/ou
à un groupe de musique).
Votre séjour au Domaine de la Tour peut être de courte ou longue
durée: vous pouvez louer une des salles ou la propriété dans sa
totalité… pour un ou plusieurs jour(s), ou un week-end. Cela dépend
de ce qui vous convient le mieux!
Vous souhaitez loger sur place? Le Domaine de la Tour dispose, en
plus de ses splendides salles, de 12 chambres doubles : huit avec salle
de bain et toilettes et quatre partageant deux salles de bain et
toilettes.

L'environnement:
Le Calvados est un département essentiellement rural bénéficiant
d’un environnement unique et très pittoresque : collines, champs,
prairies, villages typiques, anciennes abbayes et magnifiques plages. Il
bénéficie également d’une renommée gastronomique importante basée
sur la qualité de ses produits : pommes, crème fraîche, cidre,
camembert, poissons et fruits de mer.
L’accès au Domaine de la Tour et aux principales curiosités de la
région est particulièrement facile :
- 20 minutes de Caen, en voiture, grâce à une voix rapide
- 30 minutes de la mer
- 15 minutes de la Suisse Normande et du Pays d’Auge.
Le Domaine de la Tour est situé près du village de Saint-Pierre-Canivet,
à cinq kilomètres de Falaise. Cette petite ville rurale de 10 000
habitants, vous propose diverses facilités et curiosités, dont le Château
de Guillaume le Conquérant et quelques anciennes églises.
Vous pourrez longer la côte Normande en profitant de ses différents
atouts: monuments historiques et plages du débarquement, côtes
sauvages et stations balnéaires renommées telles que Cabourg,
Deauville et Honfleur.
La Suisse Normande, connue pour ses paysages magnifiques et vallonnés
, vous permettra de découvrir la nature de multiples façons : randonnées
pédestres ou équestres, canoë kayak, pédalo, vélo, escalade…
Le Pays d’Auge, très apprécié pour son environnement, vous
donnera l’occasion de connaître de nombreux villages restaurés,
ainsi que leurs délicieux produits locaux, notamment grâce à la route
du cidre.

Le Domaine de la Tour est situé à environ 640 km d’Utrecht.
Presque toute la route est de l’autoroute. Depuis Utrecht, le trajet
dure environ 6½ heures.

Sur l’autoroute A13 Rouen - Caen, vous suivez la direction de
Caen. A la hauteur de Caen, prenez la direction “Périphérique Sud”/Alençon/Rennes/Cherbourg.
Continuez de suivre cette direction et prenez la sortie 13 –
Porte d’Espagne – Falaise. A la fin de cette sortie, vous arrivez
sur un rond-point. Suivez la direction de Falaise. Vous êtes
maintenant sur la N158 en direction de Falaise.
Vous continuez à suivre la N158, jusqu’à ce que celle-ci
finisse par un rond-point, près de Falaise. A ce rond-point, suivez
la direction de Falaise. Vous arrivez sur un deuxième rond-point,
suivez la direction de Villers-Canivet. Vous êtes maintenant sur la
D6. Au troisième rond-point, vous continuez tout droit en restant sur
la D6, direction Villers-Canivet.
Après quelques minutes vous traversez La Jalousie/Cne de
Saint-Pierre-Canivet. A peu près 500 mètres après la sortie de ce
village (qui fait partie de Saint-Pierre-Canivet) vous prenez
l’avenue accédant au Domaine de la Tour qui se trouve sur votre
gauche. Après environ 1 kilomètre vous voyez l’indication Parking.

- Prenez l’autoroute Paris -> Rouen -> Caen.
Sur l’autoroute A13 Rouen - Caen, vous suivez la direction de

Vous arrivez sur un cinquième rond-point, prenez la direction de
Villers-Canivet. Vous êtes maintenant sur la D6. Au sixième rond-point,
vous continuez tout droit en restant sur la D6, direction
Villers-Canivet.
Après quelques minutes vous traversez La Jalousie/Cne de
Saint-Pierre-Canivet. A peu près 500 mètres après la sortie de ce

C’est aussi possible de venir par le train au Domaine de la Tour
: prenez le train jusqu’à Caen. Nous pouvons aller vous chercher

En Avion:
La ville de Caen dispose d’un aéroport, qui s’appelle
Carpiquet, à 10 minutes à l’ouest de Caen. Nous pouvons aller vous
