Our character filled building was created by a
distinctive Lakeland 19th century architect. Built as the Northern Gate
House to the original Manor House. During the 1950's Storrs Gate House
was the home of the Waddington family, founders of Waddington's Games -
notably Monopoly.

Our gardens are here for your enjoyment. Take a stroll
around our pathways and borders. Relax with a book or a pre-dinner
drink. Enjoy the variety of birds and wildlife, the occasional squirrel,
rabbit, even deer. Sit in tranquil peace and watch the sunset behind the
trees across the lake.
