Mountview is a modernised, three-story Victorian house situated on a tree-lined street, in a quiet residential area of London.

We are close Heathrow Airport too for your convenience.

Our location is ideal for visitors because it combines tranquility and the gentle pace of village life within easy reach of central London. Guests have access to the house at any time of the day. There is unrestricted parking (on the road).

We are within walking distance is Finsbury Park underground station. This is on both the Piccadilly and Victoria lines with fast direct services (every 3 minutes) to most tourist sites and shopping areas in London.

In our local area of Crouch End, there are restaurants of every type and a variety of cafés and pubs. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed and, in general, the prices are lower than those to be found in Central London.

'Premier Selected' is the AA's highest assessment for guesthouse. It indicates an outstanding level of accommodation and service with an emphasis on quality, good facilities for guests and an exceptionally friendly and hospitable atmosphere.

A 10% discount is offered for a stay of 7, or more, consecutive nights.

Rooms:

Rooms are beautifully furnished with every home comfort.

Each room has home comforts including pristine bathrobe and slippers, colour TV and hairdryer too. The sheets are 100% white cotton.

We provide you with soap, shampoo and towels. There are tea & coffee making facilities in the rooms also.

We have three rooms:

A generously sized double room, bay window, antique wardrobe, original fireplace and a marbled en-suite bathroom with bath, shower and WC.
A large room overlooking the garden. It has twin beds, shower and hand basin.
A room overlooking garden with double bed and hand basin and use of a shared bathroom.

Breakfast:

English or continental breakfast is served in the welcoming dining room, which overlooks a beautiful garden.

By Train or Underground:

Finsbury Park underground station is on both the Piccadilly line (direct connection to and from Heathrow airport) and Victoria line (connection with fast trains from Gatwick airport) with services (every 3 minutes) to most tourist sites and shopping areas in London. Finsbury Park station is about 15 minutes walk or 5 minutes by bus.

By Car:

A406 (North Circular Road) then A1, direction Central London. Just past Shepherds Hill. At the end turn right, drive through Crouch End and fork left by National Westminster Bank. Over the brow of the hill and left into MountView Road.

On arrival at Finsbury Park Station take the exit for 'Wells Terrace'. Guests can phone us from the station and will be collected with their luggage. Finsbury Park station is about 15 minutes walk or 5 minutes by bus. Busses W3 and W7 run every 5-7 minutes and are in zones 3 to 4.
