We provide excellent bed and breakfast guest house accommodation in
the Stansted area!
Latchmead was built in the 1930's and was originally a working farm
situated in the heart of the Essex countryside. Today, Latchmead is a
family run bed and breakfast.
Internet, fax and photocopying available upon request at a small
charge.
We offer free transfers to Stansted Airport.

A well decorated and cosy room with the following facilities:
Remote control colour TV, tea coffee facilities, towels,
hairdryers, alarm clock, bathrobes. Travel cot available. Inclusive of
transfer to the airport.

Breakfast:
Breakfast is served from 7:30 - 9:00 AM. Prior to this, take away
breakfast is provided or an early starter tray in your room. Various
breakfast options are available from cereal, fruit juices, continental
and a range of Danish pastries. Full English breakfast is available upon
request, at extra charge.
Evening Meals:
We recommend eating at the George because it's just minutes away and
the food is superb. We can book a table for you if you request it at the
time of booking. An alternative to the George is a short taxi ride to
the town of Bishop's Stortford which has many bars and restaurants.
Airport Transfers:
A free shuttle service to the airport is available from 4.30 AM
through to 9.30 AM. Please note if you are flying into Stansted with
connecting flights the next day - that there is no need to take a taxi
because we will come and collect you up until 11.00 PM.
Directions:
Latchmead is 5 miles from Stansted and 2 miles from the main line
rail link to London and Cambridge. Access by road.
