New Glasgow Inn, located in New Glasgow, Prince Edward Island, is an
impressive three story heritage home, overlooking the River Clyde and
the picturesque countryside, ten minutes south of Cavendish.
A short walk will find you at the Toy Factory, the Olde Mill
Restaurant, the PEI Preserve Company, and the New Glasgow Lobster
Suppers.
We are less than 10 minutes from Cavendish which is straight up S-13.
On the property you will notice that the Island stone walkway
welcomes you to the double doors of the vestibule, with the softly
refinished walls and solid front door, framed by sparkling side-lights.
Inside The Home:
Inside the house, the centre hall, with the original walnut
staircase, opens on either side to two tastefully appointed public
rooms.
The library, with a large bay window, is warmly decorated with tartan
and tweed wall coverings. Two large tufted leather arm chairs and an old
fashioned fainting couch invite you to lounge with a book, or simply
listen to a CD from our small collection.
All of the spruce floors are newly restored to a soft sheen and
accented by Oriental carpets.
The parlour is elegantly appointed in shades of green and ivory,
enhancing the deep luster of the green marble fireplace. Invitingly
comfortable sofa and armchairs await your arrival and provide a warm
setting for a conversation or that new novel.
Enjoy breakfast in our beautiful sunroom which looks out on the River
Clyde.
Second Floor Rooms:
Four spacious bright rooms are found on the second floor. Each has a
ceiling fan, and a three piece ensuite.
Two of the rooms feature large bay windows with cozy seating
arrangements. Queen, or double beds are featured in the charmingly
decorated rooms. Terry cloth robes are provided for your convenience,
during your stay.
You will discover that the large hallway on the second floor provides
a gathering spot with a wonderful view of the rolling hills and river.

- The Shell Seeker Room
Third Floor Suites:
Mounting the stairs brings you to the third floor, where two large
family suites are found.
In the spacious hallway will be found an inviting children's reading
and quiet play area, along with a VCR unit and age-appropriate films.
Laundry facilities are available for a small fee.
Each suite has two bedrooms with ceiling fans and a bathroom,
connected by an inner hallway affording complete privacy.
The Home Sweet Home Suite:
The Home Sweet Home Suite contains a double and a twin bed. Every
little girl. and big ones too, will be charmed by the vibrant colors
and the Victorian dolls. A super single (48 inch) and a cot (30 inch)
will provide a comfortable sleep for child or adults in the connecting
room.
The Mariner Suite:
The Mariner Suite features a double and a single (48") bed in
the parents room. The children's room will entertain with images of
Noah. A super single, a toddler cot, a twin bed or a crib and a cradle
provide comfortable accommodation for all ages.

- Depart Cape Tormentine on Confederation Bridge (North-East) for
10.2 miles
- At Port Borden, turn right (East) onto S-10 for 6.9 miles
- Turn right (East) onto TC-1 for 3.4 miles towards Charlottetown
- At Crapaud, bear left (East) onto S-13, continue on S-13 to New
Glasgow
- We are located on Highway S-13 250 meters past the Toy Factory on
the left side
