There are a dog and a cat in residence, but they are not allowed in the bedrooms.

We have a non-smoking home, but smoking is allowed on the comfortable balcony with its splendid view and in the beautiful garden.

Each bedroom has a reading loft accessed by a spiral staircase with great views from the high level windows.

Feel at home in the spacious living room with the beautiful southerly views; relax by the fire, browse through one of the many books or magazines available, or maybe watch a little television, or a movie.

Enjoy a full gourmet breakfast which includes fresh fruits, fresh baked scones and breads, home preserves, a hot entrée, juices and tea or coffee.

On warm sunny mornings, you may choose to enjoy breakfast on the flower decked balcony, while taking in the wonderful views of the snow capped Olympic mountains.

Rose Room:

Warm colourful deluxe bedroom with a king size bed and patio doors onto the balcony, and a large new 4 piece ensuite bathroom. Spiral stairs lead you to your private loft, which has comfortable chairs for reading, watching TV or just relaxing watching the views of the outer harbour, the activity on the Strait of Juan de Fuca, or the Olympic mountains.

Lavender Room:

Relaxing and calming, this pleasant room has a queen size bed and a large, new, 4 piece ensuite bathroom. The reading loft with cozy chairs and the great views offer a restful retreat.

The Jasmine Room:

A cozy, comfortable room with a queen size bed and a new 3 piece bathroom with a large shower stall instead of a full tub. The loft in this room has a twin bed to accommodate an extra person.

Monet Suite:

The Monet Suite is self catering or a bed and breakfast.

Located in a Four Star Bed & Breakfast home, this beautiful, brand new one bedroom suite is completely self-contained and fully furnished, and can sleep up to four people.

Situated in a quiet residential area, 3 kilometers west of downtown Victoria, but close to shops, a library, a recreation center, an award winning oceanfront park, and an excellent bus service.

The suite has its own private entrance on the ground floor, and close to the off-street parking behind the house. It is approximately 700-sq. ft., with views of the Olympic Mountains and the Strait of Juan de Fuca from the living room windows.

The living room features a gas fireplace, a Serta (queen size sofa bed) couch, chair, cable television and VCR, a desk area with a private telephone, and large closet; the kitchen is complete with stove, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, coffee pot etc.

The bedroom has a king-size bed and is decorated in "Monet" bedding in shades of blue, with a down duvet for extra warmth and comfort. There is a walk-in closet, and the four-piece bathroom can be entered from the bedroom or the hallway, (see suite floor plan).

The suite also has a full size stacking washer/dryer, ironing board and iron. All linen is provided, together with cleaning supplies and a vacuum cleaner.

A View To Sea is in an ideal choice for visitors who are looking for a quiet, private location, yet only five minutes by car to downtown Victoria.

Within easy walking distance to Saxe Point Park (on the ocean), buses, shops, and a recreation centre.

If time permits, take the beautiful ocean boardwalk around West Bay to downtown Victoria (45 minutes) and perhaps a water taxi back to the West Bay Marina, where it is a short walk back to your "home away from home".
