Enjoy warm hospitality and a scrumptious breakfast at
this 1912 Edwardian Heritage House located in Kitsilano, the safe,
vibrant district of Vancouver.
Just five minutes from downtown and the University of
British Columbia and only six blocks from the water, this bed and breakfast is
very centrally located in an area known for its small cafes,
restaurants, boutiques and parks.
As soon as you arrive the warm hospitality and quiet
intimacy of our bed and breakfast will help you relax from the stress of
modern-day life. Here you can snuggle down on the comfortable chairs,
reading a book, watching the flickering fire with a cat curled up beside
you.
The interior of the house is tastefully decorated with
brightly coloured walls, comfortable furniture, antiques, wood floors
with area rugs, original stained glass windows and very comfortable beds
that will make you want to sleep in in the morning.
Sit and relax on one of our three porches... these are
the only areas where smoking is permitted as the interior of the house
is smoke-free. You may have to share your porch seat with one of our
cats who are all very friendly and quite talented especially Frisky who
plays a mean piano and has been on TV.
In summer we serve a full breakfast on the brick patio,
surrounded with fragrant flowers, in the English country garden. You may
like to sit in the sun, or shade, and watch the cats playing amongst the
flowers or read your book or one of the many that we have for your
enjoyment.
In the guest living room on the main floor, enjoy
watching some TV, one of our many videos or just listen to a CD on the
stereo. We have over 120 videos for the guests use in their suite or in
this sitting room.
There's nothing nicer than a hot cup of tea when you're
tired after a long day of sight seeing and shopping. Feel free to help
yourself to a variety of teas, coffee, juice and cookies in our butler's
pantry.
We provide our guests with a lot of interesting and
useful information about our lovely city and province, and we are
knowledgeable about great restaurants, entertainment and good places to
stay on your onward journey in the Pacific Northwest.
For our corporate visitors, we have a Business Center
complete with computer with e-mail connection, printer, scanner,
photocopier and fax machine.
