Mountain River Lodge is nestled in the heart of Mount
Robson, highest peak in the Canadian Rockies. Located 1 hours scenic
drive from downtown Jasper, with an excellent chance of seeing wildlife
along the way.
From our riverfront property, we invite you to share in
the magic of our mountains. Our riverfront main lodge and cabins are set
in endless forest with a stunning view of the surrounding mountains.

Meals:
A full country breakfast is included for all main lodge
guests. Afternoon tea is our way of welcoming you after a day of
travelling and sightseeing.
Evening meals are also available, see our chalk board
for the nights menu. Packed lunches can be arranged for our hikers, to
be enjoyed at the many picnic spots along rivers and lakes.
We encourage you to unwind in the guest lounge and enjoy
the the spectacular mountain and river view with soft music, books,
games and the company of other guests staying in the lodge.
Activities:
For those that want a simple activity, you can relax
outdoors on the sundeck and watch the comedic antics of our
hummingbirds.
For the more adventurous, a wide variety of activities
await you, all conveniently located nearby.
We are minutes from famous Berg Lake trail, probably the
most scenic and wonderful hike you could find anywhere on your vacation.
The first portion of the trail to Kinney Lake is accessible to most
anyone, becoming more challenging as one continues on to the Valley of
the Thousand Fall with glaciers and waterfalls abound.
Many of our guest will stay with us a night before
hiking in to Berg Lake, camp a night or two, then come back to us for
another night where a comfortable bed and a hot shower awaits them.
Our area also offers the best in many commercial
activities, such as white water rafting, informative interpretive gentle
floats for the less adventurous, horseback riding for all levels of
riders, 4-wheel ATV guided tours into the backcountry, fishing, wildlife
observation sites, and many more!
Fishing:
Unique to our area is the worlds longest salmon
migration in the mighty Fraser River. The salmon come back in the late
summer to where they where born to spawn a new generation, die, and
complete the awesome cycle of life.
The strongest can be seen leaping up Rearguard Falls a
few minutes away. Eagles are seen soaring the thermal winds above in
search of a nutritious meal of fish, and of course the crafty bear know
where to find an easy meal too.

holiday, and so we are happy to assist in planning the many activities
available in the area, and recommend walking and hiking trails.
