Iris Garden Country Manor B&B has the look, feel and features of

Located in Victoria, British Columbia, on three acres of rolling
hillside and delightful gardens, this Vancouver Island bed and breakfast
is less than 4 miles south of Butchart Gardens and 6 miles from downtown
Victoria.

Our B&B is a unique retreat for a quiet getaway, a peaceful base
for exploring Vancouver Island or a special honeymoon. Enjoy lodgings
with a vibrant décor charmingly decorated with antiques, contemporary
furnishings, striking colours and luxurious amenities. Accommodations
feature four spacious and beautifully appointed guest rooms. All rooms
have private en suite bathrooms with walk-in showers, with most having,
as well, separate, oversized tubs.
Breakfast is an occasion made memorable by the creative and tasty
variety served each morning.
Artful presentations, the freshest of local foods from neighbouring
farms, and the congenial atmosphere with interesting guests from all
around the world make breakfast a special experience.
Rooms:
Iris Garden Room:
Stay in the Iris Garden Room and pamper yourself with the nurturing
softness of a down duvet and fine linens. This is our most spacious
and romantic guest room. Elegant, striking colours show off the queen
size, four-poster bed, produced for this room by an acclaimed local
artisan. The oversized soaker tub sits invitingly by the bed and
creates magic for the perfect relaxing evening. The private, ensuite
bathroom has a vaulted ceiling, pedestal sink and a spacious walk-in
shower. Relax and soak up the peaceful view of the iris gardens and
rural countryside from this bright and airy retreat.
Observatory Room:
The Observatory Room is sun-drenched with double French doors
opening to a private balcony and a view of a colourful rock garden and
the distant wooded hills. Luxurious golden tones on both the walls and
furnishings complement the century-old hardwood floor. The two person
air-jetted Jacuzzi tub and walk-in shower provide utmost relaxation,
while the finest amenities by Gilbert and Soames and deep, luxurious
towels pamper you completely. This is a perfect place to relax in
casual elegance and comfort.
West Coast Room:
The West Coast Room is large with the magical feel of a Pacific
rainforest. Look outside to massive 300 year old fir trees and
rolling, wooded hillsides. The vaulted, cedar ceiling and the rich
golden walls reflect the quiet comfort of this room. The whimsical and
wild, log, queen-size bed is a creative surprise. Enjoy a full,
private ensuite with a pedestal sink, Jacuzzi tub, luxurious amenities
and a spacious walk-in shower. Ready to unwind? Tea, coffee and
freshly-baked cookies are available in the servery in the guest
lounge, so sit back with tea and the selection of reading materials
from your room and relax!
Meadow Room:
The Meadow Room has a view of the peaceful countryside surrounding
our home. The soothing, golden tones on the walls, and the luxurious
draperies and fabrics, make this very private room a restful retreat.
Sleep in amazing comfort with a cosy featherbed and down duvet as your
cocoon. The private ensuite is well equipped with a walk-in shower,
pedestal sink, indulgent amenities and sumptuous towels.
Location, and Area Attractions:
The Inner Harbour of downtown Victoria, the airport and ferries from
both Vancouver and Washington State are all, conveniently, a twenty
minute drive from Iris Garden, a Vancouver Island Bed and Breakfast.
Butchart Gardens, the jewel of southern Vancouver Island, is eight
minutes from our home. From summer fireworks to Christmas lighting and
entertainment, these gardens are exceptional year-round.
Plan a day whale watching, head out for a round of golf, tour the
many scenic areas surrounding Victoria, or take a romantic carriage

Peony, clematis, forget-me-not, and an ancient flowering plum - in a
magical spring garden at Iris Garden.
Irises and cut flowers are grown commercially at Iris Garden for farm
gate sales. A row of 'Black Hills' with a striking magenta splash of
colour lights up the garden.
