Right on the corner of Cowichan Bay Road and Botwood
Lane, our new Victorian style home on Vancouver Island stands inviting
you to enjoy your stay. Located close to Cowichan Bay's marinas, cafés,
pub, restaurants, the Wooden Boat Museum, an Ecology Centre and many
shops. Enjoy the appealing charm of this seaside community in suites
each with private entrance, ensuite bathroom, gas fireplace, Jacuzzi,
TV, VCR, coffee maker, fridge and more.
Rooms:
The Magnolia Suite:
A dreamy suite occupying the entire top floor. It has
a full view of Cowichan Bay from the shops outward over the water
towards Salt Spring Island. With a full bathroom plus a double Jacuzzi
tub complemented by a gas fireplace, the suite is truly private. There
is a TV/VCR plus CD/Radio player as well as coffee maker and small
fridge.
This suite is ideal as a bridal suite, celebrating an
anniversary or just spoiling yourself. It has a designated entrance
and its own balcony to view the bay.
The Primrose Suite:
An ample sized suite with Queen sized bed as well as a
Queen sized Hideabed. The double Jacuzzi in the suite provides a
soothing touch at the end of a busy vacation day. The ensuite has a
shower and the gas fireplace provides a relaxing or romantic mood.
TV/VCR, CD/Radio are provided in addition to fridge and coffee maker.
There is a balcony to relax on and enjoy visiting with other guests.
This suite has a private entrance.
The Rosewood Suite:
A comfortable suite that has a Queen sized bed
opposite two cozy upholstered chairs and the gas fireplace. The
ensuite has a single jetted tub and shower. Provided are the TV/VCR,
CD/Radio player, fridge and coffee maker. There is a deck with benches
to enjoy oneself or just mingle with the other guests. This suite has
a private entrance.
The Ivy Suite:
A nicely decorated suite with comfortable Queen sized
bed and full private bathroom. As with the other suites - TV/VCR,
CD/Radio player, Fridge, Coffee maker are all provided. There is a
seating area above this suite to relax outside and visit. This suite
also has its own private entrance.
Additional Information:
We provide very comfortable clean accommodation with a
comfortable patio/garden area for guests to relax. Complimentary pop is
available in the fridge. Breakfast is always special and is enjoyed by
all. We ask that you keep all smoking outdoors. Pet in residence! Come
and enjoy the charm and appeal of this seaside community. We look

Locations and Attractions:
Dream Weaver Bed & Breakfast is a new Victorian
style home with a garden to enjoy. With walkways and retaining walls of
river rock masonry, there is an endless variety of plants, flowers and
blossoms amongst the flower beds with bird baths, fountain, etc. Located
right on the corner of Cowichan Bay Road and Botwood Lane, we are very
convenient to a variety of restaurants and cafés. No need for a car to
go for dinner or to browse the marinas. Wander through the Cowichan Boat
Museum and Jewelry & Pottery Studios, Dream 21 Gallery are great to
spend time conversing with the artisans and offer great gift and
souvenir purchases. Nearby, EcoWest Adventures has bikes, canoes, or
kayaks for rent. Pier 66 Marina offers a variety of sailing tours, while
Excalibur Charters has nature/Whale watching tours as well as dinner
cruises. There is also a small corner beer & wine store too.
The town of Duncan is 10 minutes north with many unique
shops located in the Old Town area. Duncan is dubbed the City of Totems
paying tribute to the extensive native ancestry. The Cowichan Native
Village introduces visitors to the legends and traditions of northwest
coast natives through photos, carving, demonstrations, genuine Cowichan
sweater weaving, films, dancing, music and art.
Throughout the year, the Cowichan Community Theatre
offers an array of both musical and theatrical presentations. The BC
Forest Museum, covering 100 acres just a few minutes north of Duncan,
features a steam train ride around the grounds with a very educational
and informative look at logging history throughout the province. There
is golfing nearby at the Duncan Meadows Golf Course, Arbutus Ridge and
Cowichan Golf courses. For wine enthusiasts, Cowichan Valley boasts five
vineyards and a cidery producing products to suite any palate. Each
location offers tours, tastings, and sales on-site.
Located 45 minutes north of the Parliament Buildings in
Victoria and 55 minutes south of Nanaimo, the area boasts the warmest
average climate in Canada of 51° F and is ideal for vacationing anytime
of the year.
