Welcome to our eco-tourism resort and lodge where you
will find nature at its best.
The resort is on the narrowest part of the peninsula so
you can enjoy the serenity of the bay & the drama of the last
section of Long Beach and Chesterman Beach which is just a block away.
A multi use walking path to other beaches along with the
village of Tofino are just beyond our driveway.
We are but a mere 3 minute drive to Tofino center and a
gentle 5 minutes to spectacular Pacific Rim National Park.

Our Mascot:
Our mascot, 'Chloe' welcomes other pets who are as as
polite & pretty as she is, together, they enjoy 'chewing over'
travel tails!
... and just so you know, we love pets... we are one of
the very few properties that accepts pets. So if you have a pet, please
know you are welcome here.
Eco Experience:
Located on 4 acres of old growth rain forest. Lovely
groomed trails wend through fern, emerald mosses, delicate lichens, and
the myriad roots, & towering trees that signature the temperate rain
forest.
Our enchanting waterfront is a bird sanctuary. Our
location is a splendid spot to share the dazzling sun rise with our
feathered friends.

All day excursion in the mountains are available. A
Cessna float plane will drop you for the day - canoe and equip on
hand.

Our chef, Gerry M. Boy, is a graduate of Malaspina,
spent six years at Pan Pacific's "Five Sails", was a protégé
of well known Gold Medallist Chef Ernst Dorfler. Gerry blends enthusiasm
& consummate skill to create his culinary magic.’

The area abounds with interesting species, including:

- Tufted Puffin
- Great Blue Heron

- Gulls & Kittiwake
- 4 species of Loon
- Western Sandpiper
- Diving Ducks & Dabbling Ducks
Seaside Sanctuary:
Our seaside sanctuary has been judged to be among the
most valuable water-bird habitats of the Coastal Wildlife Management
Area.
As you explore the woods & paths through our old
growth rain forest, you’ll be delighted by the plethora of birds that
frequent the property; numerous species of Shore bird are resident,
some, seasonally, others, year round.
For example, Western Sandpiper congregate by the
thousand, & it’s heart soaring to catch the dazzling flash of
their wings as they wheel in the sun, and mesmerizing to follow their
dizzying dash to and fro along the shore as they search out that special
morsel.
Rufous, & Calliope Hummingbirds, are much in
evidence from early Spring, to October.
Pelagic birds include the lovable Puffin, and the dour
Cormorant; of course viewings Change, as to season, and the time of day,
but there is always something to see , and the patient watcher is
usually rewarded.
