OceanWinds is a private villa and guest house situated in a garden
setting overlooking the beautiful Warwick Long Bay and Jobsons Cove, two
of Bermuda's most beautiful national parks along the South Shore of
Bermuda.
We offer spectacular ocean views as far as the eye can see.
Let the sound of the surf caress your mind as you relax in the
hammock, swing in the garden or, lounge on the terrace and watch the
Bermuda Longtails (national bird) soar over the ocean.
Take a stroll or explore the adjoining beaches, which include
Jobson's Cove, Astwood Park, Chaplin Bay, Stonehole Bay and the world
famous Horseshoe Bay Beach, all within minutes of our doorstep.
We are on the bus route and, within minutes of hotels, tennis courts,
golf courses, beaches and restaurants.
Accommodation:
We offer comfortable, short term accommodation in a peaceful setting
for the business traveler and tourist to Bermuda. Truly, a Bermudian
experience.
Bed and breakfast accommodation includes includes king size bed, bathroom,
refrigerator, air conditioning, ceiling fan and housekeeping.
Villa accommodation includes 2 bedrooms, living room, dining room and
1½ baths. Amenities include air conditioning, satellite TV, stereo,
fireplace, secure and private garden setting overlooking the Atlantic
Ocean.
Activities:
There is plenty to see and do in Bermuda. Your hosts are long time
residents of Bermuda and will be happy to help you get the most of your
stay in Bermuda.

Beaches:
Bermuda has a host of public beaches for you to enjoy. Here are some
of the best beaches in Bermuda:
Astwood Cove (Warwick Parish):
This beach is not as busy as other beaches due to its location.
Luckily it is close to OceanWinds and thus you will have a beautiful
beach close to you.
Church Bay (Southampton Parish):
A good location for snorkeling. The waters are fairly calm due to
yet another reef.
Elbow Beach (Paget Parish):
This beach is about 1 mile long and is one of the most popular
beaches. There are a few hotels on the perimeter of the beach. This is
a good beach for swimming due to the coral reef surrounding the beach.
Horseshoe Bay (Southampton Parish):
This is Bermuda's most famous beach. This is also a good beach for
families. While most beaches do not have lifeguards, this is one beach
that does. Lifeguards are on duty from May to September.
John Smith's Bay (Smith's Parish):
This beach usually has a lifeguard on duty from May to September.
This is the only public beach in Smith's Parish. This beach is long
and flat. Washrooms and changing rooms are available.
Tobacco Bay (St. George Parish):
This is the most popular beach on St. George's Island. There are
snack bars, equipment rentals and more at this beach.
Warwick Long Bay (Warwick Parish):
This popular beach features is 1 kilometer long. This location
provides good snorkeling due to the coral reef off the shore. The
water is very clear and the marine life will come close to you.

Situated on a hilltop with a panoramic view of Warwick Long Bay (one
of the island's best kept secrets in terms of beaches), beautiful
OceanWinds Bed and Breakfast is a peaceful place to spend a week or so when
visiting this lush island paradise. Whether you cross the road to take
an early morning walk along the beach or a dip in the turquoise blue
water or a hike along the shoreline to Horseshoe Bay, this is a choice
location for anyone who does not like the ambiance or the expense of a
large hotel or resort. Not the motor bike type, I found the bus ride
into town (which takes only 20 minutes and is very inexpensive with a
weekly pass) a more than adequate alternative. The owners, Meredith and
John, are gracious, helpful and not at all intrusive. I would definitely
return to OceanWinds and recommend it highly.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Ocean Winds Villa. It's small
size and personal service made my visit to a great destination even
better. As I am a frequent business traveller, I am tired of 5-star
hotels that all look the same no matter where in the world you are.
Having breakfast outside the villa with a close-up view of the ocean was
an excellent start to my days in Bermuda. I am looking forward to
returning to Ocean Winds and Bermuda soon.
