Cottages:
Watch the day fade into a magnificent star filled night from your own
candle lit verandah.
The cottages are ideal for a romantic get away with queen size beds,
fluffy doonas, electric blankets and luxurious linen. All cottage have fully equipped
kitchens, bath robes, chocolates and loads of character.
The living areas have a wood fire with plenty of wood, CD, and video,
candles too. A full kitchen is yours with both regular and microwave
oven.
All your drinking water is treated by ultra violet light and tastes
superb.
Double spas, found in each cottage, are a delight with jets at side
and bottom and a special exhaust system in operation to blow all pipes
clear of moisture after each use so no harmful bacteria can be left to
circulate - candles create a romantic mood here too and there are plenty
of candles for you to use!
Bubble bath, bath gel and shampoo are provided for your enjoyment.
Luxurious heated towels complete the bathing experience.
Two of the cottages have large bathroom windows looking into the bush
- at night you can enjoy the spa with just candles and the lights in the
bush.
The cottage verandahs overlook native bush and bird feeders, with
plenty of bird seed for you to add, bring the king parrots, rosellas and
zebra finches. There are gas BBQs here so you can choose to cook
breakfast out of doors and enjoy eating in the company of the birds
while basking in the winter sun. The verandahs catch the winter sun
while are beautifully shaded in the warmer months.
Breakfast:
Bring your appetite – we supply the makings of a big country
breakfast sausages, bacon, eggs from our own chooks, tomatoes, cereals,
compotes of fruit, fruit juice, two different kinds of bread to toast,
butter and margarine, a variety of spreads, plunger and instant coffee
as well as a selection of teas.
We are also close to wonderful restaurants and menus from these are
in the cottages so you can make an educated choice of just where you
would like to indulge yourself.
Activities:
From the Rustic Spirit you can access horse riding also eco-tours on
the Colo River, the last unpolluted river in NSW, bush tucker and glow
worm tours and for the more adventurous, canyoning trips.
Nearby is grass karting or grass skiing, a beautiful nine hole golf
course and for the less energetic a short drive up the road to Mt. Tomah
cold climate Botanic Gardens with a tour wagon to take the puff out of
the hills. Further up the road are the wonderful private gardens of Mt.
Wilson some of which are always open to the public regardless of the
season.

We are just 90 minutes from Sydney and 30 minutes from Penrith the
site of the Olympic Rowing etc. where you can enjoy white water rafting
